Happy New Year to all! My 40th birthday bash was a huge success last night. All of our guests and farm animals made it home safely. The hookers left this morning. Now I'm trying to recuperate and watch some football. Hope 2007 is the best ever for all of you Hammerheads as well as PT and the band. You guys are the greatest!

Stalker - 49 seconds

all - Happy New Year!!

Gear heads - picked up the Boss DD20 Giga delay and an eBow with xmas $$$....having a blast with both. Actually got a cool synth sound not unlike unto Crash and Burn. Layed that down on the DD20, then put the bass line over the top, and jammed away for a while. What a blast!

Steve!!!

Happy New Year Brother! I'd give ANYTHING (except that) to take in a ZEPPAGAIN show, not only to hear and see you tear chit up, but it what be JUST what the Dr. ordered to respite me from the extreme insane madness going on in my life right now. But unfortunately I gotta sit out these next couple of gigs. I thank you sincerely for the invite Steve as does Liz.
I'll be there in spirit wondering why the hell you guys don't do any Pat Travers songs!

I'll NEVER forget the look on your face when I first said that to you!

You're good dude Steve, I'll talk to ya soon!

WHEW! Just got dropped out of another alien spacecraft -- this time they kicked me out just over O'Hare airport. Said something about having to get the hell out of dodge and off they went at warp speed. I don't think anyone saw them heading out . . . 'Jew hear anything about it, Bill??? You call ME a little guy -- you ought to SEE those little green bass-turds!!! They're about as big as one . . . They make Mini-Me look like Shaq!

LOL I've been hovering over the website off and on -- playing catch-up at work in between holiday partying and football, but am back to the regular grind now so here I are.

Steve, I'll put the word out for that gig. That's a practice night and we have that NASCAR gig coming up quickly, but maybe I can move it to Saturday night that week. ALWAYS dig yer show!

Got me a Digitec Bass effects pedal for Christmas. 40 presets and 40 setables. Jammed with it the other night -- pretty cool! My First Effects gear . . . yeah, I know -- welcome to the 21st century.

Check out my pimped out My Space page! I think you'll like the soundtrack -- Pat, a friend set it up for me and they just happened to know who would sound good on my page. Hope you don't mind! Look at the little kid jamming to the sounds on my comments list! http://www.myspace.com/randaljayehm

And if you haven't heard 'em yet, do a search on MySpace for Eyeball Skeleton -- an 8-year old, a 10-year old and one of their dads playing guitar and drums. Impressive for that age and just plain fun!

Will this be "acoustic" or "loud and lively" with the boys?

Please and thanks for any info.

Greetings from the UK. Happy new year to you all. I heard a rumour that The PT Band may be over here this year - lets hope so - we are eagerly awaiting the next gig here.
Eric - It was great to meet you again still the best drummer I've had the pleasure of watching in umpteen years (Leicester - The Musician). Pat - it was fab to shake the hand of my guitar hero again - sorry if I worried you when you allowed me to carry you guitar to the van (precious instrument in the hands of an unknown) - what an honour.

Take care all.

Looking forward to seeing PTB soon as.

Hey Snowdog, at least you didn`t carry Eric and Pat to the van.

I`m sure you`ve heard of "Scary Spice" of the girly group "Spice Girls", well, here`s a pic of "Scary Kirk" of the PTB.

The Boardwalk in Sacramento Feb 3rd. Hmmmmm.. Sounds like a cross country road trip. (O.K. actually flying.)Eric, how can I get in touch with you in California if I make it out there. My e-mail is madbchjim@yahoo.com Start back to the night audit this weekend after beiing off for five very long months. I think the boss might give me a weekend off after only being back to work for a month. After all it would be for a good cause. Looks like it could be a while before any shows on the west coast of Florida. Daytona doesn't do anything for me.
Stalker, you headed up here for the Blues Fest in Clearwater? Johnny Winter, right? Well, the snowbirds are stalking me for computer time here in the Mad Beach Library. Time to mow the lawn and hit the beach this afternoon. 80's todays.

For anyone who's interested, I put my brother's Richie Sambora Stratocaster on eBay for him. Nasty divorce, but he's still keeping some of his other guitars...no she can't have them.

Jim the following post should answer your question. I am extremely happy to announce that I am leaving the Pat Travers Band. As for reasons....all I can say is that they are the same as most of the other countless musicians' reasons for leaving this band. I value everyone on this board and consider you my friends and I will stay in touch. 7 years of feast or famine gets to ya. I wish the best for whatever musicians Pat brings into the band. Buckle up! Anyway you all know my e-mail by know but if you don't it is Ericfrates@aol.com. Drop me a line anytime. My band is now fully booked through the next 4 months so if you are in the area let me know. I will have a web site up very soon. Eric

Eric knows that I frequently wander up to O-town and that I`ll fer sure be dropping in on his new band, when he least expects it. I`ll also still be catching the new, yet unknown, version of the PTB as much as I can too!

This is my first post but the time is right.I have had the pleasure of seeing the Pat Travers Band three times in the last year.I also have seen the band live with Tommy A on drums and every lineup since.Eric is an excellant drummer, powerful and confident.I also enjoyed the brief conversations we had at the shows and many thanks for the autographed sticks and other stuff. However,I never thought Eric was right for the band.Too powerful for those tunes.I know you guys are tight and might not agree with me but that is my honest opinion.I do wish Eric good luck with his career, and I look forward to the next PT show in the northeast.Steve

Hey Eric,

vv

You will be missed my friend. I think you and I go back just about 7 years (remembering when your drums were stolen...).

Anyway, soldier on my friend. I do hope to catch your new musical endeavors (whatever they may be). Don't ever put down the sticks, you're a true talent. Not to mention a very nice, generous, kind, and thoughtful person.

I've put you in my email address book and will keep in touch.

I can still remember how the music used to make me smile
And I knew that if I had my chance
that I could make those people dance
and maybe they'd be happy -- for awhile

Pat, I hope you're doing alright through this! I'm just lamenting the loss of Eric. He's been a good bud . . . $#!+ happens. I s'pose

Still hoping to see you next month in Portland.

DO check him out when you're in Orlando. He's got a great bunch of friends and he's a kick to watch -- especially when you thought he was "just" a drummer! That ain't the half of it. See ya down the road, bro

Eric I'm sorry you're leaving PTB, you are my favourite drummer and in PTB I loved it. Good luck with your new band I'll look out for your website, hopefully you'll do a few dates in the UK - you've got fans over here. Am I right you played PT=MC2? still waiting for my order. Looking forward to hearing it.

All the best

Eric, it seems like yesterday I interviewed you for my old webtv fansite. The first time I saw Pat was the only time without You and Rick. I was never dissappointed. Don't know why, don't care why, I just know I don't like it. But a man has to do what he has to do. Don't ever give up. You have something others like myself can only wish for. Good luck and if you ever need anything 7313354019.

Paster,

Your first post shouldn't be critiqing any present member of PT's ever list of bandmates. The fact that Erice DOESN'T need a PA system only goes to show how much of a fuggin powerhouse he is and always will be! His skin bashing is second to none on "I don't care" He blew Carmine Appice away on that one alone.

Bill,
Take another look at my post. There is nothing negative in it.I think your buddy Eric is an excellant drummer. However I am sticking to my opinion that his style is not the best match for the PTB.IF you want a forum of ass kissers I will be on my way.The Pat Travers Band is and always will be one of my favorite groups, and I have been playing a set of PT in my band for over 25 years. Also are there any musicians in upstate NY who would be interested in jamming. Thanks,Steve

Negative??? who said anything about negative??? I said "CRITIQUE" You see Steve, we ALL know the PTB on a personal level. Like we're friends with these guys. If you are a musician, then you'd realize that EVERY single version of the PTB had it's good and bad points, HOWEVER, posting what you said the same day Eric announces his departure is just poor taste. However, you're opinion is just that. Yours. But the same day dude????

We are definitly NOT a bunch of "ass kissers" as you so intelligently put it. We have flat out questioned Pat on career and song choices that we (like "we" have any say in it) disagreed with or wondered WTF?, but to make your first post dis'n the guy who just left seemed kinda...I don't know what, but just not right, ya know?

Hey Steve P & the rest of you hammerheads,

I actually agree with all of you. The timing of such remark may or may not be the issue. Opinions are like......well you get my drift.

I think debate is always healthy even though message boards in general do tend to cater to the favorable and not so much to the unfavorable.

I've had my wagon surrounded by the indians more than once here on this message board. :-)

For example, love Rick Navarro. Got to meet him several times, very kind & generous with his time. I don't know if I'd be the same if I were in his shoes. Pat, Rick, Eric, and Kirk are all very good examples of how to be a better person. Rick is also an extremely talented bass player, but as my user name implies, Mars Cowling is my cup of tea when it comes to bass playing.

Just remember that we are dealing with the human element here. As band members come and go, the one constant is Pat himself. His music has varied greatly over the years and I attribute that mostly to the musicians that he surrounds himself with.

There have been people in Pat's bands over the years that really have altered Pat's music in way that I really didn't like. Scott Zymowski for example just couldn't drum the tunes with the same kind of "snap" that Nico, Tommy, and Sandy could do.

Can you imagine what this band pictured sounds like?

Look Steve,

You're new here. If you're gonna express yourself in the realm of what you think Pat's "way of music" should be, fine, no sweat from anyone here. Your explainations or excuses for saying what you did (and defending it nonetheless) is quite arrogant. who or what agrees with you is of no interest to ANYONE here.

Now, if you want to RE-PHRASE yourself with a tad more intellect than just sounding like a common cover drummer who whacked "boom boom" or "Snortin'" at a few wedding gigs, then by all means welcome aboard. You see, we here, this...family so to speak, will buy tix to see Pat string a fuggin rubber band across a shoebox if that is such his musical desire at that moment. What you fail to see is this (not too mention other things as well) Pat never gave a single phuc whether his past or current drummers "pulled off" sounding just like Nico or Tommy. THAT'S WHY Pat has SO MANY albums since the two afforementioned drummers were in fact a part of the PTB. It makes NO MATTER who is, was, or will be. The website is entiled: PAT___ TRAVERS. Not People who used to be in the PAT TRAVERS band.

Again, who agrees with you or sends you emails (as if you're somebody) is of no consequence. Either be cool or be gone as far as I'm concerned.

Tact Steve...Tact AND a touch of diplomacy. YOU DON'T wanna piss Randall or gREG. gREG will do sum'n VERY "deliverance-like" to ya...

I shudder in horror just thinkin about it

I'm done with this.

Well, Pat sings and plays an acoustic guitar, in front of people, in a club, with lights and a bar, with ladies and mens rooms probably adjacent to the parking lot, in Columbus, Ohio, USA, Planet earth. Does that do it for you, or do I or someone else need to go into this further?

Steven, If I could chime in here. Bill's an accomplished guitarist with world class skills and the best understanding of Pat's music, with the exception of a very few, that I have ever seen or heard. He is perhaps PT's greatest student even if Pat doesn't know it (yet). When Bill talks PT he know of what he speaks. Trust me.

Here is a great example Electric Detective

The MP3's are from a little PT trib we put together quite a few years back. Bill does not like the tracks, indeed he hates them. Mostly because they were put together on a shoestring and done in one afternoon and he feels he cold've done much better with more time and a better studio. Bill sings, plays all the guitars and bass. On the otherhand I love the tracks. Bill can channel PT any time he wishes. So when you say:

quote:

I could play a set with PT tomorrow,could you,you ignorant prick.Hows that for tactful,Steve

Please know that you know NOT of what you speak. Bill has been ready to play with Pat for years...if he only had the opportunity.

Sorry Bill, don't mean to step in for you but you know how much I respect your PT...

Now let's put this little thread to rest and Steven please feel free to post a link to your PT stuff. I would love to hear it. I mean that respectfully I really would.

Ed out.

Oh for goodness sakes!!! Steve P. expressed his opinion. Big deal. Ya know what? Eric Frates drum playing was over the top for a band that features a guitar player, namely one Patrick Henry Travers. I thought myself alone in thinking this, I've seen PT a bunch of times and I agree with Steve's original post that Eric's power drumming wasn't the best fit in the world. Geez, the band isn't called "The Pat Travers Band" for nothing. My 2 cents.

The plain truth is this - the most recent drummer PT picked to back HIS band and play HIS music he kept on for seven,

count 'em

1..2..3..4..5..6 SEVEN..years.

And it doesn't sound like he was asked to leave, does it?

How many others were with him that long?

Apparently PT felt he liked the "over the top" style behind him, eh?

LOLOLOL!!! What??? 'He kept 'em on for seven???'

-OR-

PT was glad he had a drummer willing to work with him that long. (these are my thoughts, opinions, conjecture only, no flames, please).

See Eric's own post. It speaks for itself. Feast or famine, bro, may the next 'buckle up'. What are you freakin' talking about??? LOL!!!

Also, Hooked on PT wrote -

Apparently PT felt he liked the "over the top" style behind him, eh?

To which I say - I guess so. I have no idea.

Here's the deal, bro - I was expressing my opinion that I thought Eric not a good fit. Big deal.

All of this arguing is crazy!!!!!!!!!

Pat is the MAN in front of this whole mess. I have been a PTB fan since 1977. I keep hoping the mainstream recognizes the fact that Pat is one of the best musicians out there.

When I think of the Pat Travers band I think of one of the best and one of the most talented guitarists ever to play. I do not even consider who is sitting behind the bass drums and high hats.

Granted Pat needs a drummer, but really people Pat needs NICO, TOMMY, ERIC, or whoever decides to suffer waiting until Pat makes it, is crazy. Pat rules and I dont care. I go to see Pat tear it up each and every time I have seen him since 1979 (76 shows and counting) Pat keep on rocking. Pat Travers nation, get a grip. Pat is the man no matter who is sitting behind him

TomC - this discussion is not about PT being the MAN. Obviously, if he's not there, neither are they (and neither are we!). This discussion is about what type of drummer is suitable for PT's music. As it is a "band", those components are important, even if you don't care who they are (and when I say "you", I don't mean "you" you, just "you" in general). As a musician, I am interested in all aspects of the concert - he can't do what he do without them; well, he can, but then it's a solo thing and that's another discussion!

T - I fail to see how Eric's drumming is "over the top" for music as powerful and driving as Pat's. I mean, they friggin' come in and set the amps to 11 and are there to, and I quote, "kick your ass". So - while I appreciate your point of view, I just don't get it.

cheers!

So, this drummer decides he's had enough. The travel and dealing with the crowds of people all the time...he's had it. He decides he's going to get away from it all and join a monastary.

Now, at this monastary you're only allowed to speak two words a year. But, he's cool with that; like I said, he's really had it with dealing with people anyway.

So, a year goes buy and the head monk calls him in. "You've been here a year, so now you get to say two words - do you have anything you'd like to say?", the monk asks. "Food bad!" the drummer replies. The monk makes a note of it and sends him on his way.

Another year passes, and the head monk calls him in again. "You've been here two years now, and now's time to say your two words - do you have anything you'd like to say?" "Bed hard!", says the drummer. Again, the monk makes a note of it and sends him on his way.

On his third annivesary he is once again called in by the head monk to see if he has anything to say. "I quit!", he announces.

The head monk replies, "Well, I am not at all surprised...all you did was complain!"

Hooked, I hear you. I understand also. I am just frustrated that one of the best artists in music is so overlooked. I trael aroud the country and see PTB in as many places as possible. I have seen so many different line ups that it is ridiculous. From Nico and Tommy on drums to Pat Thrall and Jerry Riggs on lead, Mars and you name any number of bassists. I have seen PTB headline for 30,000 and I have seen him play dive bars for less than 40 people and I have seen him play strip joints. The final denominator was PAT TRAVERS kicked ass each and every time no matter who was in the band. I am frustrated that this guy cannot get air time and I am frustrated with the ever changing lineup. PTB kicks my ass every time and will continue to every day no matte who is in the band.

Forgive me I'm no drummer but I feel the need to chime in also.
I have seen P.T.B. live with 4 differant drummers. I liked them all. The members of a band with such a POWERFUL MAN at the lead need to maintain the foundation of the music.
I enjoyed Freight Train's fit into the band. In a small venue last September during the end of "Stevie" Freight Train just engulfed me with visual, tactile and sonic sensations right along WITH PAT. (realy everyone's power picked up) When that rush wore off I thought "That's the way it should be"
Isn't it?
No ass kissing here just opinion.
Everybody brings something. I much enjoy differant styles joining with Pat such as Ansley Dunbar on some of the studio alblems.

I will miss Freight Train and wish him the best. Change is sometimes the only thing you can count on in life.

I only hope that Pat will have a drummer lined up soon to make this 2007 tour complete for all of us. There was a mention of possible shows with Appice. I'd like to see that.

Cheers!

Sitting by Eric while they played onstage opening for Alice Cooper (Eric always let me sit there if I wanted...like a drum roadie), and looking over and seeing Eric Singer (Alice's drummer) just watching Eric with his jaw on the floor. After the show I asked Eric Singer if he like the show......he said, "That drummers fukin awesome!" Then to sit w/ Eric and and Kirk in the van to the backstage area...Eric made sure I was well taken care of....as a matter of fact, everyone that showed up, He took care of that was associated just a bit more than "fan" status. It was important to him. THAT was Eric, not just the bad-ass drummer. He was almost the voice of PTB.....and evryone loved the guy! I'm hoping some time apart will maybe bring Eric and Pat back to the same place...ya never know. Eric brought so much more to the table than JUST the music for us Hammerheads....thats what we are gonna miss, besides the beat.

Hey Fermenter,

Yeah, I got the "ginbels" version of the PT Rockpalast 1976 show. It's an awesome snapshot of that lineup. Good picture & sound too. :-)

Hey Steve P,

I will see you at the P4th gig on 1/26/7. PT solo acoustic, should be a blast to see that.

Do you have the PT solo acoustic CD? It's quite good!

Are you set up somewhere to jam? I don't have much time, but can always squeeze in a jam here and there. Bass or guitar. Pretty proficient at both.

Yeah, what gREG said. Eric served as an ambassador every time I saw him with Pat. I also had the good fortune of hanging out with him and his band in Florida, spending a day with Rick and then being hosted by Pat for some of the MC2 recording. So I must say I'm bummed, as I have enjoyed Eric's hospitality and friendship, but as they say the show must go on so that's that. Pat knows what's best for Pat and that's what I would imagine he'll do!

and YES SEAHAWKS RULE!! MAN that was a close one, though. So sorry Jimbo. Anybody else hoping for a Seahawks-Chargers Super Bowl? Might have to take the family to Miami for that one -- sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime deal if it happens.

As to ass-kissing, you'll have to ask my lovely wife about that. I'm pretty sure her's looks ALOT better than yours! LOL

Oh yeah, and Pat playing a rubber band on a shoebox? I think you're talking Tom Waits, Bill! hahaha

Man,you folks sure are excitable. All I meant by my post was that I like the drummer in the Pat Travers Band to be a little less of a monster and not so overpowering.I did not disrespect the man,in fact I found Eric to be a stand up guy in the conversations we had.I also waited till he left the band to make my thoughts known.Next thing I know I am threatened with "deliverence" type acts and called a"common cover drummer"even though I have been playing over 40 years.I love playing tunes like Hooked and Need Love as much as I like playing my own material written over the years.Maybe you dont want people to truthfully speak their minds on this forum so you can go back to the extremly important topics you like to talk about, mainly yourselves, your football teams, how much beer you drank and how much money you make.Steve

Hey Bill,I actually have never played a wedding, nor have I ever played Boom Boom.I have however played out about 25 other PT tunes over the 35 years being in bands.Do you play anything beside your mouth?Do not use quotation marks on things I did not post.I could play a set with PT tomorrow, could you,you ignorant prick.Hows that for tactful,Steve

LOL! You ass clown. Lemme show ya just how "ignorant" I am. (I use quotation marks you punk ass faggit) As far as what can I do musically? well, ask Randall, Hooked, or most importantly, ED. The webmaster, owner and very generous best buddy of mine, just how much PT music I know... well, for starters, I WAS the guitar player on the first and ONLY official PAT TRAVERS TRIBUTE CD. That afforementioned CD is in Pat's living room. Has Pat EVER heard one of your punk faggit ass wedding gigs? Don't bother answering...It's quite obvious. You know 25 songs? WOW. Do the entire catalouge NOTE FOR NOTE THEN you might raise and eyebrow here. Even as a drummer I can do that, and I'm a guitarist. You punk ass faggit wedding singer.

So go to another forum like "Brittany Fox" or "Faster Pussycat" where the fans share your ignorance, and post there where someone might ACTUALLY give a chit...YOU ignorant punk ass faggit PRICK.

And further more, go phuc ya mutha...I'm from BED STUY. The REAL NYC.

AW CHIT!!!!!!

Steve, I retract the post I just left. I read what you had posted WAY down the thread here and immediately got pissed off. I should have scrolled up and read further before I posted but...Too late now. Just let's let it go. Enough of this.

All I was trying to say is, when Eric posted he was leaving, it hit a sour note on alot of us. Some of us who know Eric are extrememly sad to see him go. So when a new dude like yourself, with absolutely NO prior posts comes in here and lays that on us, I kinda (okay I went over board)lost it at ya. I too am from NY and I value friendships with a lot of people here (except gREG. I'm scared of him) I guess in retrospect, all you're guilty of is timing. Or maybe saying that too soon verses posting an introduction of yourself first. I don't know.

But I will say this as far as a positive note for all of us who are down and blue about Eric leaving after 7 years. Ya know, I met Pat in '86 and only got to know him on a personal level in the last 10 years. BUT no matter what band lineup it was at the time, Pat ALWAYS had a monster manning the throne. Before Eric it was Sean "The Cannon" Shannon who was also a fuggin powerhouse of a drummer. Then Eric comes along and displays what it's like to have a drummer that doen't need a P.A. in an average sized club. I SERIOUSLY pitty the poor bastid that has to fill the shoes of these last 2 long term drummers.
Why don't you audition Steve?

Bill

P.S. Let this chit go huh? I attacked you pretty hard but like I said, I didn't see your apology until it was too late. If I could have erased it I would have.

Peace

Naw, don't be silly my brother. Actually I knew you'd chime in with that EXACT retort. After all, you know my playing better than anyone here and if ya can't prove yer bullchit, then it's just that...bullchit. (I'm not referring to you Steve P.) Jesus I hate that CD. LOL! Sounds so corny and cheaply done which it was of course, but...Me doesn't likes it.

Yea...just WAIT till me, you, Randall and hopefully the "SteveZmeister" go to tape this summer.... Now THAT'S going to be a groove! No pun intended. well maybe. No, There DEFINITELY was pun intended, and why not? It fits, It's witty and it's my perogative to do so.

So there :-)~

Bill

PS I'll call ya Thursday AM

That's odd I was just looking on e-bay for the PT list of items. I'm wondering just how legit some of those items being sold are. Are they approved by Pat? Anyone like to throw their opinion out there?
I'm going to miss Eric playing in PTB. Eric has always been the most approachable person I've known when it comes to bands and it various members. I wish him well in the future.

The Ohio St. Buckeyes, smell like Gator bait to me.

Hey Jim (and all hammerheads),

They're all official legit releases. The Whiskey Blues CD I believe is a re-release of "Boom Boom Live" from the Diamond Club in Canada. It was released on video as well. Awesome show with awesome sound. :-)

A great opportunity to get your PT CD collection up to snuf....

Wow.....intense! I would like to assure anyone here friend or foe that I did not or will not ever take offense to someones opinion. Now call me a big fatty and we're fighting!! Just kidding. Ya know to be honest with you guys I knew MAYBE 2 songs outside of the set list that I played with Pat. I never was a fan before he asked me to join and I never was really interested in his catalogue. Maybe that's why it worked for seven years. I had a completely different take on the songs, as I learned them from Sean Shannons live tapes NOT the original recordings. Pat likes EVOLUTION. His music evolves and it's what keeps it all worth doing. Who wants to learn a song note for note and play it to death? I have never been more humbled by any musician as I am with KIRK McKIM. This guy comes into my life and this band and completely changes my outlook on music. Honest, generous, phenominal, and a true friend. Other than Rick Navarro the only TRUE friend I ever had in the band. Kirk is what I will miss the most. I really hope Pat doesn't take him for granted. Kirk is the best of the best period. I did endure 7 years with this band and met some amazing people. How do you ever repay someone for that kind of experience? I had a blast. As for my playing style being too powerful, or over the top....YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT!! and there isn't a chance in hell your gonna slow me down my friend. ERIC

Bill,no problem,I never meant to piss anybody off.And if you read my posts you would see I never insulted anybody, just gave my opinion.Actually PT has heard me play since my band opened for his in the early eighties in the Albany area.As for an audition now your talkin crazy.Thats way over my head .3 kids,2jobs,a band, you know what I mean.My band has been together over 25 years, same 4 guys.Last time we played out was the Chance,in Poughkeepsie, you might know the place if you are from NYC,on Memorial Day weekend. We opened with Hammerhead.Anyways I dont sing in any wedding bands and I dont bend over for anybody, unless its to kiss my kids.Ill tell you what though,I just went to a wedding on Long Island where the band made close to 10 grand for the gig.Steve

Steve, cool that you guys found a meeting of the minds and hey Eric thanks for the post. Somebody had to throw some water on that fire!

Steve I hope you noticed that I didn't diss you for speaking your mind, but in your post is sounds like you were pointing at me so here you go, for the record:

yourselves
I'm a Gemini dad husband architect bass player from Portland and Seattle who's lived Insane Diego for going on 24 years.

your football teams
The Seahawks first, then I gotta go with the Chargers but the Cardinals are DEFINITELY in my Top 32.

how much beer you drank
alot

and how much money you make
Not nearly enough, but I got just enough money to buy me a case of the blues

Anybody care to keep this thread going?
