Hey there Bette: I am not going tonight but I am Saturday night! You guys are in for an awesome show tonight especially if Tesla is there, my favorite three T's (Travers, Tesla and Trower!!)

Have fun Kathi, Scott and Jo and everyone else going!

Scott, Jo, we missed you guys at the Brookdale, we left right after the show! Matthew ended up knowing the guitar player from Wishbox, they went to high school together (Mike) and the other two guys (Russ and Sal) are his bass players cousins and the drummer (Ben) is a musician that has common threads with him and other bands in Santa Clara County.

Hope all is well with you and your family

WOW!!!! :) I remember Robin McAuley from the McAuley Schenker Group (MSG). Love his voice! Can't make the show, but it's good to see he's still out there singing his pants off and with Pat Travers no less! :)

I really would like to have seen Pat with Nico and Mars again. First saw them in 76 here in the UK and couldn't believe my ears. I've met Pat a dozen or so times since and seen him many more. Such a shame he doesn't make it to the UK that often. He inspired me to play guitar and form my own band. I remember in the 70's when he walked over to me at a Sheffield gig and said "someone over there tells me you play my stuff". We sat and chatted for ages as the support band were on. That night, Mars' parents came to the gig and he didn't know anything about it. Pat introduced them from the stage. What a night.

Good Morning All, hope you all had a wonderful Easter Weekend, mine was awesome!! Saw Pat Saturday night at the Kingshead in Campbell, AWESOME SHOW!! much better than the Brookdale Lodge all of them, Pat and Wishbox were all on it that night, the sound was awesome, the crowd was awesome, drinks were awesome, Ed I was hoping to get you that shot of "Hot Damn"!

Thanks to the Wishbox gang, Sal, Russ, Ben, Mike and Mark, nice chatting with you all! Birtola boys always nice to see you and Russ tell Teresa I said hello!

Tony, thanks for everything again! It was nice to meet your brother and Uncle! P.S. Nice Buns!!

Pat sounded incredibly awesome that night, what a major difference from a week ago! He started with Hwy. 61, Voodoo Child, Stevie, and at this point I didn't keep the order straight but....Makin' Magic, Life in London, Getten Bette, Heat in the Street and much more!

My sister Arlene, got Pat a belated birthday gift which I think he loved! It was a Fender Guitar Watch in a Guitar Case, totally cool!

Time to stop yakking and get to work, was out yesterday a lot to catch up, Jim I missed your drunken binge talk!!

Take Care Everyone! TraversChickFan :)

You're gonna get some new PT very soon.....mixing is happening and PT is working Mike Varney (Shrapnel Records fame) to have a great product available soon.
For all that can make it.....the Oklahoma/Texas shows are gonna kick major ass.......former AC/DC and now DIO drummer Simon Wright and former Blackfoot bassist Greg T. Walker are gonna be keeping the time with PT this round!! I can't wait to hear the thunder when it happens....PT is also bringing some old stuff back into play live and loud!! We're in Tyler Texas with Blue Oyster Cult and another hard rockin act I'm not positive about yet on May 17th. I hope all Texas fans can make that one! Fans in the Indiana, Illinois, Ohio area listen up......if you know of some cool places (bars, clubs) that PT could play at...let me know. We have a show in Indy on June 4th and I'm looking for more towns to play in the area!!! Fans can make shows happen with very little effort.....give it a shot!! Peace to all of you and Texas Rich is on the case! We're circling the wagons for another BBQ and barn dance in 2003!! Yippie!!

We'll I dont usualy venture into chat rooms or post but I had to share My thoughts on the shows last two weeks. Saw them both, Brookdale and Campbell, as I live two blocks from the Kings Head. First off let's just say any place I can see Pat play bad mix or not I would be there. He is truly a great talent. As I have played guitar since the early eighties I must give the man his due, he has more soul in his voice and music then most musicians will ever realize. Best kept secret in show biz? ya, you bet. Both shows gave goosebumps and cant wait for 5/24/03. Great fans.
GREAT SHOW PT. SEE YALL.

He also said that he and ERIC are getting back together, indeed, they wrote a song today! Also it looks like there might be a re-incarnation of 7thFold (or something similar) in the works....

To Unanimous2 - Hold your horses buck-a-roo!! :) You need to get your facts straight.... Rick and Eric are still part of The Pat Travers Band and will be touring extensively with Pat in the very near future.

Keep and eye out on this page and RickNavarro.com for further information!!

Happy Belated Easter to all

Lots of cool news here lately . . . Pat and ERick back together on an EXTENDED tour?? MOST excellent!

One of the guys opposing my hotel deal had a stroke over the weekend. My attorney told me the State of Washington asked us to agree to a 30-day extension of the appeal period so this guy can testify or submit a written statement. I said, "Can't we just unplug him?" heh heh

I know, a little cold but how I'm supposed to feel any sympathy for a dickhead who has helped rape me financially I don't understand. But naturally I agreed tot he extension, as the bad stuff will be on his conscience and not mine . . . other than that, everything is fine!

Opened a new restaurant that I designed in the Gaslamp District where we can hang out whn PT and the B come back to San Diego -- it turned out very nice. MY eldest son Jayson got a job bussing tables, with a little help from the old man . . . those of you who met him at Camp Heineken know he's a great young man. Dustin's doing great too, Jacob is fun as ever and Grace is patiently waiting for me to hit the big one, so overall life is good albeit a bit of a $truggle of late. Hope everyone else is getting by and looking at the positive in life.

Unany2 - "I still think Simon and Greg should have "flashing pictures" also..."

That would be quite a nice sentiment, I agree. I'll see what I can do. [read on and read "into" what I'm about to write]

I'm just real glad that Rick and Eric are still in the game... along with Greg T and Simon and along with Sandy and Kasim and along with - last but not least - Wishbox. And who know's who else is in Pat's future??? I got a few hopes of my own that I'm workin' on. But Pat is a real busy dude these days so.... Projects will have to wait until they are ripe for the picking.

Wow come to think of it Pat's got quite a corral of musicians backing him up!!!!

Yes soon! So far Florida and Canada {wink wink}

Rick and Eric absolutely rock when they play with Pat! They weened me off of the Sean Shannon and Dave LaRue lineup and did a real good short order job of it. I didn't think that possible but they did it.

BUT

It was a real pleasure to witness Wishbox rock with Pat a couple of weekends ago (that's always a special treat for me}, just as it would be great to see Pat play with Greg T and Simon and you know I'd just kill to see Sandy, Kasim and Pat!

Hope all is well up the in the great wet north! I think you'll need another trip to the warm dry sunny climes again real soon! Paladindo's maybe?

Ok you guys, this is U2's niece..I was at the show with U2...she's still to drunk to type. So, I'll tell you about the BOC show. Firt of all Heyoka kicks ass, we got pictures, autographs, beads (without even having to show our tits thank you), air time on the radio, vip treatment, those old guys in BOC said to tell you guys Whats up..they are reallll old. I didnt even know who they were untill last night, but those old guys rock!! I thought one of them was going to die or something. I ran into a poll and everybody saw me, and U2 somehow managed to avoid it all night, kind of hard to believe.we just got home and its like 3:00 P.M.!!(we left at 5 yesterday) We got lost and by the end of the night we passed out at the Heyoka party!!Too much fun. Oh yea, we got a guitar pick too. They arent as stingy as PT is with his..lol.I just cant gwt over how old and short they were. We are waiting for a butt load of pictures, and we will gladly share them with anyone who is intrested. we didnt get many pictures of them playing we just got pictures of them backstage and by the time they went on satge, we were out of film, but there where plenty of people with cameras that have our e-mail addresses so we will hopefully be getting stage pics.Oh yea, my purse got stolen so that sux but i guess i should be content with my free shirts and beads right? At the end of the night we asked this guy to give us a ride to our car, but when we got there we realized we were parked right in front of them.oh yea did i tell you we had to much fun? we were dissapointed that BOC didnt play DOMINOS AND PERMISSION..damnt.well were fixing to go bathe in the river seeing as we slept in our clothes, and forgot our makeup, and have an inch thick layer of dust and dirt covering our body. But its not all bad news, at least BOC are on their way early June, and they rocked when they toured here last year. I see Pat is playing with BOC in the US, it would be great to see them tour together over here. Now that would be the something.

Now there's an interesting poll..."who's guitar would you want to be?" Do they actually have to know how to play it? hmmmm

July 26 - Bad Company, Pat Travers Band, Blindside Blues Band, July 27th, Night Ranger, Montrose and a TBA (maybe zep-again. Brian Call me - we are interested) At Zephyr Cove Park, Hwy 50#, ZephyrCove, Nevada, near South Lake Tahoe. Big Day on the Green venue, concessions, campgrounds etc. $29.00 for one day, $45 for two days. Promotions start in about two weeks. Maybe Steve Lukether will be joing Pat and maybe Mike Varney from Pat's lable Shrapnell will be there. They are all in my area at that time. I'm giving PT a bonus for this one. Hope he agrees. This is is my 1st annual Lake Tahoe Classic Rock Festival. Steven Seagal is one of my sponsors and really digs Montrose and PT and he will be there. He promises to show me a new move - will probably hurt a little. Ginbel any differences you want to settle could be met there for all to see if that's what you want. All I ever wanted is what you promised not your excuses and no execution. Your change of direction and misrepresentation have pushed me to not trusting you with a ten foot pole. Please Don't ever contact me again unless you can deliver what you made the deal for. Others, have told me the same story about you, so it must be true in some instance(s). I'm like Texas Rich, Ken, Shiva Tonemaster, Travers Chick Fan, Ed -just don't trust you so let's not talk again its beter that way.- you dig? We can both be huge PT fans without mixing, I know it would be disastrous, you've proven yourself to me. Maybe you do alright with others, but you screwed up with alot of us others too. You have your friends and I have mine. Sorry about that everyone. Wish I could be as mellow as Cindy - she's a great gal. Just had to release - ahhh. Feel better now. But those who email me can be my guests at the July Festival, big Green Room Backstage, camping and a ton of fun. Randall I have your room next to Night Rangers. Dwarff yours is next to Montrose.

Concertservices@aol.com. One more big act yet to sign and I hope Mike Varney will help me with UFO. Varney is a great guitar player and I think the most of him. His new PT CD will be out in July/August. - Hope everyone is well and I really mean no offense to anyone in the way of Ginbel and my dealings. He did it to me - I didn't do it to him. PLease be cautious with him. All I ever wanted was the deal we made to consumate and it didn't. So if ginbel cries to you, then let it be so and take it with a grain of salt until you meet me personally. I don't have any CD's to sell you, but I have a good show and me. I think the world of every PT fan here and those who contact me, I just don't reproduce the CD's and DVD's to make friends - I put on the shows, so be my guest - please email if you want to see a real classic festival and meet the real Blu Hawley and MY GANG. - Signing off the board for a while now, want to get down to business and not fool around with the likes of a Ginbel. - See Ya - Blu P.S. Ginbel get some psychiatric help - maybe Dr. Phil could help (lol)

I also went to the venue website for next months PT gig in Palatka Floriduh and they list Sean Shannon on drums and Kevin Rian on bass for that show.

That "Power Trio" is a new CD. It is a tribute to three piece bands. From what I heard, they were tearing it up in the studio when they recorded it. I asked Pat about it and he seemed really up beat and excited about it. That has to be a good sign. I'll be sure to get mine. Nice to hear some new PT (even if it is a tribute CD). Thanx Mike(Varney)! Hmmm... now if we could just sneak in some of the new stuff we have been kickin' around for a bit.... Someday. Soon I hope. You know what would be cool if we could have a PTB screen saver. I have an Aerosmith one and was thinking about making one for us. Maybe Ed could have it available for download or we could just give out CDs with it on there. Hmmm.. maybe Randy could make it. By the way I FINALLY got around to watching the DVDs. Nice job!!

Rich,

Are you talking about the Bon Jovi DVD (Japan Tour '96)? That's a great show isn't it?

I finished the Ted Nugent Rockpalast '76 show a week ago. A German friend captured it straight to his hard drive and burned the uncompressed avi to three disks (it was 59 minutes long). I got them and was amazed at how well Vegas Video converted the PAL footage to NTSC. It is identical to the original footage and it's MINT!!

Just last night I finished a killer Robin Trower show from 2000. I swear, some of them old farts just get better and better as the years go by...

MUCH better than the ADVC-100. Plus has real time scrubbing in Premiere's timeline. Plus now I can use Pro Coder right from the timeline without rendering to AVI first. Just wrapping up the new PTB DVD "live at The Recher" Came out really nice!

Paladino's is in the San Fernando Valley - Cool club and Swan from Zepagain does the sound there. So you know that show is gonna sound most xlnt!

Either show would be great! I'm gonna try and hit both myself.

I want to get plane and hotels reservations to that Tahoe gig, but I checked the artists site that are listed and no one has it on their schedule. Bad Company is listed as not touring till 2004 and Night Ranger is playing in Minnesota on the 26th. No matter I guess we all know PTB just does things at the last minute. also. LOL! I called Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce (they do the scheduling for Zephyr Cove park) I double checked with several people there and they definintly do not have it scheduled either. Maybe someone else will have better results than I. Here is the link to them... http://www.tahoeinfo.com/ Here is the direct link to Zephyr Cove Park reservations.... http://www.tahoedixie2.com/Campground/Reservations.html I spoke with the cooridinator about this event and she said as of yet it does not exist. I know last minute airfares are REALLY expensive. Well if anyone runs down a line on this show can they post it? I would love to see PTB, Bad Co, Montrose, AND UFO(didn't they break recently?)!!! If I was not having too much fun to remember, it would truly be a day to remember. LOL! Oh here is the link to Night Rangers tour schedule.... http://groups.msn.com/nightranger/tourdates.msnw I emailed a couple of the kind folks over there (from that site) about the gig, but have not heard back yet on that either. Oh well... it sounds great though.

and from Sacramento on the 11th to 13th. Now
this is early enough to consider it. What are
credit cards for? What about this airforce gig?
Are there many concerts there?
Bette

Hey Bette, I have never been to Mc Clellan for a concert, it is only a couple of miles from here though. You could come to Sac , stay here and ride to Capitola with us (Us meaning of coarse Daryl and I) Actually Daryl hasn't committed to going, but I'm sure he will. Any way that way you don't have to get a rental car, or cab, and you know you have a way around. You could stay here, I think I will be roommate free by then, that leaves me a spare room, or if you like camping out I have plenty of floor space, ha ha. I am 15 minutes from the Sac airport, and if I have enough notice I can even pick you up,or if you get a night flight. That way you wouldn't have to worry about how to get back from Sac to San Jose either. It only makes sense...... Right?

Kathi,
I was thinking of flying into San Jose on the
11th and fly out of Sac on the 13th. The Capitola thing is during the day isn't it? Anyway, need to get all the details to figure out what is most convenient. Thank you for the offers, I'm sure I will take you up on some. Don't want to put you out.

Bette, PUT ME OUT? HARDLY!!!!!!
I don't know about the time of the show, I looked on the website, but I'm either lame or too impatient to find info on the PT show. Anyway, know that you are welcome, and it takes a lot to put me out.
Once you know what the score is just let me know, and anything I can do to help you get around here in Nor. Cal. I'm happy to do it.

Bette, here is a thought! I live 15 minutes from the San Jose Airport, I would be more than happy to pick you up and we can go to Capitola together and you could go home with Kathi for the Sac show? I'd be more than happy to do that!

Mushroom Mardi Gras looks like way to much fun, and Shiela E the day after Pat, she is pretty cool!

Hey, TraversChickFan, or anyone else in the Morgan Hill area, can you recommend any cheap hotels in that area? I'm thinking of trying to come up for the Mushroom Mardi Gras; PT, Glenn Huhges & Montrose in one day (plus Gary Hoey) looks too cool to pass up!

Let me know if you have any tips!

Thanks!

Hey there Steve, there are a lot of new hotels in the Morgan Hill area, there are some decent ones in South San Jose on Monterey Road which is a straight shot to the park where the Mardi Gras is. Parking can be a bitch, we usually take the Harley and park right across the street at friends house! Heck, you guys are even more than welcomed to stay at our place. We are about 20 minutes from Morgan Hill. We can kick the kids out of their room, or, there are very comfy couches in our house!

I will get some names and numbers of the local hotels in the are for you! Shoot if you decide to crash at our place we could even take the boat out for a spin at the local reservoir before you take off!

Scott, remember Terri Riegler, she is in the hospital right now battling an infection called sacrodosis, they removed a lymph node and tomorrow possibly a lung. Kathy was there and asked if I ever see you anymore. She says hello. see ya, Regina

A long and overdue post(which I forgot to include last time)... I would like to thank TLo and the boys of Wishbox for all the support through the last No Cal gigs - you guys are so thoughtful! PT's birthday was one memorable evening for us thanks to you guys. That shirt looks wonderful on Pat. TLo you rock! Keep on with those gigs!! Cannot wait until Mardi Gras. Hope you enjoyed those Jelly Bellies! Compliments of the No Cal Hammerhead gang.
