Hey Randal,
I won't be able to make the Tahoe gig, wish I could though, sure had a great time the last time there. Trying to plan a trip for New Jersey in July. Maybe portland might be an option in August. that reminds me, that portland gig, is the on the saturday of the Darrington classic rock festival....wonder if PTB will be playing Darrington festival again?

Why someone with Pat's great song writing ability releases all cover song CD's is way beyond me.

PT Power Trio is pretty darn good as cover songs go and any PT is better than 99% of the stuff out there...but damn!!

Two more cents given.

What?? Steven Segal is an ACTOR??? LOL

Blu, looking forward to the show. Please RSVP me for a room and show . . . sounds fun! Big Ed, by August my deal should be moving ahead so hopefully I could do a P-Land side trip. Golf sounds like a good time, especially in beautiful Portland that time of year. I had hoped to make the Rose Festival but not this time . . .

Yeah Pig 'n Pancake, Bolin was the ••••. I would love to hear PT cover any of his stuff . . . some of his stuff with DP would be most excellent. Too bad I can't make the memorial -- that's a very cool thing for his fans to do. One of the most missed of all the lost souls.

I saw Jimmie Vaughan and John Mayall's Bluebreakers with Lafayette last night -- a great blues evening! Met Jimmie and got a photo taken with him, which was cool because I just met Gary Busey the night before in Santa Monica at the gallery! Celebrities meet in threes, (LOL) so I expect to meet another one at the fundraiser this weekend back at the gallery. Jimmy Pagemaker -- you coming? Friday at 8 pm, Bergemot Station, Track 16 Michigan off of Cloverfield, south of I-10. I got some fantastic feedback on our model of the new TREATY Total Immersion School -- very organic, they said. Ol' Busey loved it, orbital as he was!

Glad Rick and Eric are still "with us!" Ed, EDD and Eddie, are they gonna be with Pat in Portland?

Hi Bertandnancy -- you gonna make Tahoe again? Gettin Bette? Cindy? Daryl, Darren, gREG or Carl?

TCF! The lady that took the picture on the home page was standing right next to me!! I think she was the dark haired lady Pat gave his pick to! Maybe not. If so, I was standing on her right, just to the right of Pat (Pat's left) as you face the stage.

The show was great! The sound was excellent! And the band was really tight! Simon on drums was really a treat! Pat played three songs from Power Trio - Highway 61 Revisited, White Room, and Inside Looking Out. When they finished up with "Inside Looking Out", my buddy Scott looked at me and said, "I bet Grand Funk's version didn't sound like that!!!" And I know it didn't!! Pat was absolutely on fire on this song!!

More later...Jim

Zero interest in Bolin, 100% inteest in PT restated: I'll definately take a listen to the Power Trio and check Dunbar for myself. In my eyes for many years back to 1974, Dunbar was the Greatest Rock N' Roll Drummer of All-Times. Maybe like ALI, he should retire before he gets beat up too much more...That first Journey Album blew my mind, Next did too. Dunbar was untouchable then. Do any of you agree?

Maximus Rockpigus, I'd love to hear PT play Gettin Tighter (DP Come Taste the Band)with GH on vocals! In my humble opinion that track was a forebear of the PT jazzy funky sound we all love. What about - "for the first time in Japan; Tommy Bolin is gonna sing for yeah" - It would be great to hear PT take a crack at "Wild Dogs" the only track not hacked on the infamous DP "Last Concert In Japan". Perhaps PT should grab Tommy Aldridge and let "Quadrant 4" from Billy Cobham Spectrum dangle! Tommy Bolin the gifted guitar slinger, over whelmed and decimated by the temptations of the Hard Rockin 70's.

Blu states- (Zero interest in Bolin --- 100% interest in Pat. Pat doing his own stuff is great, Pat doing covers is not.)

Gee Blu, you probably should forget about getting Pat's new release as it's ALL COVERS. I agree with Drummz, as well as everyone else that yearns for a PT release with originals on it. I've begged for it here a time or two (times 2!) myself, but it ain't happening. So I guess we must be happy with what we get, and hope that eventually an original release will someday happen.

Too bad you can't appreciate Tommy Bolin's music.
Most people really enjoy it. But I understand. Like all art, it's a subjective thing. I happen to think Steven Segal is a terrible actor....

My thoughts on P.T. Power Trio CD...

It is a decent CD with some cool tracks but I would definitely prefer an original PT album release. Maybe now that Pat is back with Blues Bureau, that shelved PT album could possibly see the light of day. That is what I would hope for!

Pat sounds good and his playing is very good on this CD. His guitar sounds great! I myself am not so crazy about all the Shrapnel/Blues Bureau releases with Ansley Dunbar on drums. He is OK but much of what he does is flat and boring. On this CD he loses a lot of the feel that the original songs had by just playing really straight and stiff. Don't get me wrong, these songs don't require Neil Peart or Nicko McBrain to play them. It just would have been nice to hear the drums played with some dynamics and groove.

Bottom line: Any PT releases are appreciated. I am interested in anything Pat does and appreciative of his talent and dedication. But also I, like many fans are really aching for original material from the PTB.

My two cents anyhow

Zero interest in Bolin --- 100% interest in Pat. Pat doing his own stuff is great, Pat doing covers is not. Pat doing covers with the original lead singer is sometimes cool, Pat playing "Too Cool Woman Blues", "Amanda" or "Daydream" (Your Blues away) is what my ears need to hear and so they shall - July 26th, Zehpyr Cove Park, Zephyr Cove, Hwy #50, South Lake Tahoe. -- "Look Out"

Just visiting the Tommy Bolin site ( www.tbolin.com ) and it's posted that Pat Travers is CONFIRMED to play at this year's Tommy Bolin Memorial Fest. It will be August 1 & 2 in Clear Lake, Iowa for those of you that can get there. Best tip I can give you is get a hotel NOW (some links listed at the website) as this is usually a capacity crowd event. I'm also speculating that Pat will probably be playing on the 1st, as the gigs page here on Pat's site lists a show already scheduled for August 2nd outside of Iowa. You should confirm this yourself, as I'm not in a position to know for sure. Myself, I won't be able to make it, but I can only imagine how cool it would be to hear Pat cover a Bolin track or two. I also wonder if he has plans on doing any Bolin covers at this gig. (Most often the bands playing there do.) Which got me to thinking...What Bolin would I like to hear Pat cover? While ANY of them would make my day, I chose these four...From "Teaser" - "Dreamer" & "The Grind"...From "Private Eyes" - "Shake The Devil" & "Gypsy Soul" (which Pat could do during his acoustic section). And for good measure, throw in "Post Toastee" in the encore. Seeing that would make my year! Just curious what Bolin tracks other Travers fans would enjoy hearing. Comments anyone?

Also, does anyone know if Eric & Rick will be doing this show or if it's someone else? If anybody has access to Eric or Rick ask them for me and post here if possible. Please? Thanks!

Good luck to anyone that can make this show. I'll be sufficiently envious of you! Ha!

Prayers to Noel Redding of The Jimi Hendrix Experience....Peace be with you.

And as always...PTB is King!

Hey Nancy and Bert!! Long time, no hear! How have you been? Did you get your 'new' house all painted and to your liking? Now I guess it's time to slow down and chill. Keep an ear open for any PTB gigs between Delaware and N.Y. and maybe we can hook up again. That was so much fun the last time we met up and went to Froggy's!! An unforgettable show. It was great meeting so many PT fans. I don't think we have your email address, so I'll give you ours: ginbel27@comcast.net

Have fun and be safe.

My guess is that Pat is holding out for the right record deal to release the originals. The covers simply keep his name out there and keep the diehards like us happy. Having said that, it seems like we've been waiting about five years for the "right deal". I believe it's time for someone to step up and make this happen.

I think "the well" is fine, but not being tapped. Thankfully Mike Varney has the forthought a deep pockets to produce Pat's CDs. Pat is saving the original stuff for the right deal. Just the way it is. No one wants to give great stuff away. However, having said all that.... There is something NEW!!! NEW YEARS EVE DVD!!!!!!!!!!!! Done AND for sale right now. The is the very best PTB video ever! 3 months in the making, this is light years better than ANYTHING we ever did before. Fully interactive motion menus, dolby digital sound, tons of special effects, full two camera shoot with picture in picture and multiangle views, and montage work! If this video doesn't kick your ass, you cannot be helped. 16 chapters in this 90 minute video and includes Crash and Burn!! The bands performance that night was nothing short of spectactular! We were there and are still amazed at the level of play. Begining to end, they just nailed it! No stopping to fiddle with this or that. Just full head on kick your butt rock!! Got my copy of PT Power Trio here in the UK today.

Rockin' Roy hit the nail on the head alright:

'Why someone with Pat's great song writing ability releases all cover song CD's is way beyond me. PT Power Trio is pretty darn good as cover songs go and any PT is better than 99% of the stuff out there...but damn!!'

I have to say that I think I find it particularly frustrating because though I love PT's guitar playing to bits, the songs & his voice are the things that make his old stuff & 'Just a Touch' so special to me.

This is by no means a criticism of Pat & the way he runs his career - I'm just interested, but I must be missing something - why does it make sense for Pat and/or Mike Varney to only release PT covers albums?

Surely if covers albums are economically viable an album of originals would be too? I can't believe that the covers albums sell more than originals would - fewer I'd have thought.

I'd also be surprised if the deal with Mike is sufficiently poor for Pat that it's worth holding onto original stuff looking for a better deal. Otherwise why would the covers albums be worthwhile?

I have to say that much as I'd love to be wrong, I can't see a genuinely 'good' deal coming PT's way nowadays.

Well, anyway - great news about the NYE DVD Rich, another reason to keep my eye out for the postman!

TC

PS Can't resist a quick 'hear-hear' to the other Bolin fans here. IMO It's Blu's loss that he has 'zero interest' in Tommy!

Richard - you posted while I was writing mine, so I'd just like to say I'm certainly not bitching - like Rockin' Roy and most others I love PT and am glad to get anything he puts out.

The situation just seems really weird to me & I care enough to wonder why things are as they are, and care about Pat's songs enough to hate the idea that they may go unheard (especially by me - LOL)!!!

Posted on Thursday, May 22, 2003 - 07:12 am:

I have been a drummer since age 11 and it is merely my opinion, but Aynsley just is but a shade of what many drummers out there are. Aynsley is a very solid drummer with a great history but really has never shown a great deal of originality or chops. I love the Journey albums he played on but none of that really took much more than basic solid playing to suffice drum-wise. Just because you play with greats doesn't make you the best drummer is all I'm saying. There is a lot that is different between musicians when it comes to style and feel. He is probably a great guy to work with and that is why he gets the gigs and fantastic opportunities. That means a lot to the guys doing the project with him I'm sure.

The other two Journey drummers have been way ahead of what was done back then. Anyone who has seen Steve Smith or Deen Castronovo knows what I am talking about. Pat has played with many great drummers and I just would have liked to see someone else do this gig, nothing against Aynsley at all. I have tons of CDs with Aynsley on them. I am thankful that Pat has something out and is still plugging away. I had Trio pre-ordered a week ahead of the release and glad I got it.

I guess it is like a painting that you know could be better if you only had a better or certain kind of brush. OK, that is all I have to say about it and like I said, it is merely opinion.

I do wish Pat the best in getting a deal for his original stuff. "Looking Up" was great!

Aynsley Dunbar is stellar. The song "Kohoutek" shows the versatility and marvelous nature of Dunbar. His marvels can also be heard on Frank Zappa's records. Check Whitesnae albums with Dunbar. To say this drummer is below par - DRUMMZZ" is not saying much about what you know concerning those who beat the skins. I wouldn't argue with a ten foot pole about how good Anysley is. He's simply great. End of story....

Hey Randal...Dunbar was on the commercial breakthrough Whitesnake release from '87. He was also on Bowie's "Pin-Ups" & "Diamond Dogs" (my fave Bowie). To carry it further (besides Journey) he was also on Jeff Beck's "Truth" and Jefferson Starship's "Winds Of Change". Regarding Zappa, he first played GUITAR on "Uncle Meat"! He drummed on a few other Zappa releases as well..."200 Motels", "The Grand Wazoo", "Chunga's Revenge", "Apostrophe'", as well as a couple of others. As Drummz said, he's a solid, reputable drummer, but not consistently high on most people's "best drummer" lists....A good assessment, I think.

How's the P.A. debacle coming along? Did your biggest contender survive his "medical emergency" enough to still be causing you grief? Hope it eventually goes through for you....You've CERTAINLY put in the time & effort!!

Happy Memorial Day everyone....Remember the "purpose" of the holiday.

Add another vote to Drummz & Rockpig's view of Mr Dunbar - good drummer but not a genius.

(BTW I believe Mick Waller played the vast majority of the drums on Jeff B's 'Truth'. So by the same token I guess any appearance by Aynsley must be fairly small)

Whoa MissingMars! Dude, you NAILED a monster when you listed Trilok. I saw him in a small club with John McLaughlin (2 sets in one night!)and although it wasn't ROCK, it was such a fascinating experience. McLaughlin and the bassist (Kai Eckhardt..another monster!) were up on the stage riser, and Trilok sat on a very short stool on the floor in front of the stage with his kick drum UNDER the stage riser! His snare, toms, everything else were little more than a foot off of the floor. It was the weirdest thing I had ever seen, but you wanna talk about a phenomenal sound! Absolutely, by far, the BEST sounding drums in a live setting by anyone, bar none! Besides doing some amazing jazz/world beat drumming that was anything BUT 4/4 timing, throughout the set he also did this bizarre thing with a 5 gallon bucket of water...He had a microphone hanging just above water level down in the bucket that was half full of water (which was on a stand suspended off the ground), and he would use all kinds of things for special percussion effects. Chimes, wooden blocks, rattles, all kinds of things, even an empty beer bottle! He would bump the bucket to get the water moving a bit and vary the motion around the bucket of water as he'd tap, scrape or whatever on the various "tools" (for lack of a better word) and the microphone would pick up these little nuances and the sound would just get other worldly. I've seen nothing like that before or since then. Something I'll never forget. Now THAT is an original and talented drummer for you! Between the surprise of seeing Trilok's (and Kai's) talents for the first time and John McLaughlin's OBVIOUS talents, this show ranks in my top 3 ever, and it wasn't even a ROCK show. I subsequently bought two Trilok solo releases because I was so impressed with what I saw that night. By the way...this line-up released a live album in 1990 called "The John McLaughlin Trio - Live At The Royal Festival Hall". Highly recommended! Trilok is a good one to have on a "best drummers" list MissingMars!

Terry Bozzio is an AMAZING drummer. He was with Missing Persons and was married to the lead singer Dale Bozzio. If you want to hear an early 80's "techno" pop album with a rock edge then listen to Spring Session M by Missing Persons. Bozzio blazes and the songs are really good. Some of the songs you may know off that album are "Windows", "People Are Strange/Destination Unknown", and "Walking In L.A.".

My other favorites are Bonham, Moon, Aldridge, Peart, early Alex Van Halen, Carmine Appice w/Dio, Stewart Copeland, and the drummer for Heart (Michael Carangelo or something?) McBrain was also very good with Pat and Iron Maiden.

Well well well...long time, no post. Nice to see things are moving along here. Not nice to see that Blu is up to his old Draconian BS, but OFW.

I am a guitarist but I have a few thoughts/comments on the drummers thing. Rich, I think you may be thinking of Tony Rice. I am not sure I've heard him but the name rings a bell in jazz circles. Though I am predominantly into rock and metal, I've cruised a bit of progressive jazz fusion along the way also. Regarding Terry Bozzio, there is a album by the band U.K. called "Danger Money" featuring his amazing talents. First UK album featured the amazing Alan Holdsworth on guitar and Bill Bruford (of Yes/King Crimson fame) on the drum kit. Also featured were John Wetton on bass and lead vocals (probably best known as the voice of the supergroup Asia) and an amazing keyboardist/electric violinist named Eddie Jobson. The latter two were also featured on the "Danger Money" album, a true gem in my opinion. Another fascinating Bozzio project is a CD called "Explorer's Club" released by progressive-oriented Magna Carta Records (another Mike Varney project) which features Billy Sheehan on bass and a host of incredible guest guitarsists and vocalists. Reminiscinent of some of the great Yes/Genesis/ELP epic songs. One of my favorite CDs.

Regarding Dream Theater...Mike Portnoy is one of the greatest drummers I personally have ever heard, and he is flawless in concert, not to mention a pretty friendly guy to meet! TraversChickFan, have your hubby drop me a line at CARLJ@aol.com, I'd love to chat with him, I'm a huge fan of DT's, I have basically every disc they've released commercially and have seen them upwards of 10 times in 10 years..and they have NEVER disappointed. I have 12th row tickets to the Queensryche/Dream Theater/Fate's Warning show in Baltimore and I am psyched!

A few other amazing drummers not yet listed:

Scott Rockenfield - Queensryche
Rod Morgenstein - Dixie Dregs (forgive him for Winger, we all make mistakes)
Phil Collins (early Genesis and Brand X, amazing stuff)
Steve Gadd (Al DiMeola's early solo stuff)

I could go on and on and on, but I won't. LOL

I've heard great things about Tommy Bolin but have heard very little if anything by him. Strat? Can ya help a brotha out?

Last, but not least, I, too, would love to hear some original Pat, but I heard a few of the covers played live and they were hotter'n lava! My BestBuy didn't have it in yet, but I'm optimistic.

Well, I've rambled enough for 3:30 a.m. Keep on rockin' everyone!

Carl

Good Morning All: Getting ready to go to the Mardi Gras (Morgan Hill), taking my daughter and her friends, my sister might join me, we will see!

PurpleHaze, my husband will be dropping you a line, he has been playing drums since he was 8 and all the drummers everyone has mentioned, Appice, Bozzio, Morgenstein, Smith, Peart, Bonham, Aldridge, etc. - I am told are all awesome drummers but the one he has placed on his top list is DreamTheatre's - Mike Portnoy!! I bought tickets last year when they played in Concord and we took my son, we had awesome seats (not 12th row! but decent) and both he and my husband just tuned everyone out and focused. We saw DT in a small venue in SF last year also, we were on the floor and I am just amazed how incredibly tight this band is! My husband will be emailing you after this weekend, we are probably taking off after today!

Looking forward to Hoey, Travers, Ligertwood, Hughes and Montrose today! and then tomorrow Hoey again and Shiela E.

Hey Carlos The Purple One! How the heck have you been? Never heard back from you on the private email line about your guitar rig questions. You must have gotten it figured out? You mentioned a good one with U.K.'s "Danger Money". It's been in my collection for years. Certainly a prog rock classic! Bozzio has been all over the musical map, hasn't he? If you (and others) liked "Explorer's Club", Dream Theater, etc. you will not be disappointed by the Black Light Syndrome releases I mentioned in yesterday's post. You should also do yourself a favor and check out Liquid Tension Experiment. I believe some of the DT players are in that project as well.
And if you like Scott Rockenfield, you might wanna check out Slave To The System. He's on that. I turned the Ginbels & Beseau onto them, so maybe they can offer an opinion about it. Good stuff

For Tommy Bolin, his two solo releases are obvious choices (Teaser & Private Eye) but I'd also highly recommend Billy Cobham's "Spectrum", Alphonse Mouzon's "Mind Transplant", and Deep Purple's "Come Taste The Band". He was also on James Gang's "Miami" & "Bang" releases and played some solos on the debut by Moxy. As you are a guitarist, you would most likely appreciate Tommy's work. I would definitely rate him better than "zero interest".

Hey Hooked, your comments about dime a dozen drummers (except when your band needs one) had me cracking up. Too funny, but damn if it ain't true!

A couple drummers over looked; Carl Palmer, the man is like the terminator on the skins, saw ELP as recently as 5 years ago with Dream Theater and Purple. Palmer was the king that evening and thats saying alot when you view the competition. That brings us to Ian Paice, another amazing drummer and we can't forget Brian Downey either. Man their is alot of great drummers, I wonder though If look at more than just technical ability, but take into account the drummers overall contributions to the complete sound and vibe of a band. A person if taken out of that band, the soul is taken from that band. Think of a drummer that totally changed the way drummers play and the way rock/pop music sounded before and after their arrival on the scene. I believe your left with none other than Keith Moon, but maybe the same arguement could be said of John Bonham. Zeppelin did the honourable thing by packing it in. The Who on the other hand proved without a doubt that they could still sell a whack of pancakes, even though the soul was lost in their music. I urge anyone to listen to Who Are You and then listen to Face Dances and you know exactly what I'm talking about. Face Dances has some catchy tunes and the band and Daltry sound great, but the driving spark is gone. Slip in Who are You and even though not The Who's best, theirs a quality and dynamic that you realize is truly missing in Face Dances. This missing element can never be duplicated, call it magic or soul, but it left with Keith Moon.

SRXLESS-that's so true about Moon and Bonham. Even Townsend and Daltrey have recently commented about how limited they were with Kenny Jones on drums. Not exactly cool to hammer the guy, but what they say is true.

Here is my two cents on great drummers.

Liberty DeVitto from Billy Joel's band is exceptional. Especially live. Check out the Billy Joel video 'Live from Long Island', from back in 1982. DeVitto plays with alot of energy and he's fun to watch.

He played on the PT releases 'Blues Track 2' and 'Don't Feed the Alligators'.

I've recently transferred a bunch of Who videos from last year's tour to DVD and I got to see a lot of their current drummer Zak Starkey (Ringo's boy).

I'm sure having a father as famous as Ringo Starr helped out quite a bit, but he can definitely hold his own and really sounds great.

As far as bands from the '60s who are still jamming, Daltrey and Townshend have to be two of the hardest rocking guys there are. I think they absolutely put the Stones to shame. Richards looks like they just dragged him out of rehab and he looks like he is totally out of it when he's on stage.

Townshend, on the other hand, is still shucking, jiving and windmilling the way he did 35 years ago.

I went in not knowing what to expect but Roger, Pete, and John did not let me down. Pete's becoming more talkative as far as interaction with the crowd as he gets older. They will be hard pressed to replace Entwhistle. Entwhistle=musician maximus!

Hey Post Toasters; What about Ringo, everyone loves to slag his drumming, but he was the perfect compliment, on those well crafted tunes. His deliberate plodding march style is all his own. In fact when other great bands pay hommage to the fab four, not only do they try and nail the vocal harmonies, but try and recreate that destinctive march, I'm thinking of Jerry Gaskill (another fantastic drummer) from King's X's. Another note about Keith Moon, for those that love to read literature on Rock n Roll and the crazy stories that go alone, by far the best book is "Moon" the life and death of a rock legend by Tony Fletcher. I've read them all, Hammer of the Gods, Stairway to Heaven, Walk this Way, books on the Doors, Beatles, Lennon, Wyman, Stones, Gillan, Lizzy & on and on the list goes. I don't believe their is a book better written and more throughly researched, then the book by Tony Fletcher. Believe me, when I tell you that I'm not the most literate guy out here (know kidding you all say), but I can tell the difference between a well crafted piece by a great writer as opposed to something shoveled together. To the more literate Toast Posters, search for the book it truly is a work of art.

Went to the Mushroom Mardi Gras yesterday and PT was definitely burnin up the fretboard. It was disapointing that he only got to play 4 songs by himself (Highway 61, Gettin' Betta, Rock 'n' Roll Susie and another song off PT Power Trio that was written by Eric Burden but made popular by Grand Funk, never did catch the name though).

It was cool to see him jammin' on Alex Ligertwood's set too, I believe PT joined him for All I Ever Wanted Was To Be With You.

Glenn Hughes' set also kicked ass. I couldn't believe the range of his voice for a guy that's been around as long as he has. Mariah Carey, take notes.

After Hughes' set came PT (backed by Wishbox, who, while I'm not a big fan of their original material, did an awesome job backing Alex, Glenn and PT's sets).

After PT's set they all came out for a big jam of Smoke On The Water, with Pat doin' an amazing job on the lead. Would have been cool if Ronnie Montrose would have came out and interacted with all these great musicians, but it was not to be.

When he did come out for his set, he came out of the gates blazin' with Rock The Nation and never slowed down. His set was great, aside from some problems with his signal for a few brief seconds, and his singer, Keith St. John, was perfect for the Montrose and Paper Money album era tunes.

Ronnie must have cloned Sammy Hagar back in the 70's and pulls him out of his cryo-tank when he tours. And speaking of great drummers, Eric Singer did an awesome job and Ronnie let him do his solo thing that definitely left the skins smokin'. Not sure who the bass player was but he carried the bottom end very well.

All in all, it was a great day for music and I am glad I drove down from SF (60 miles or so).

I'm jealous..
Glenn Hughes has always been one of my favorite musicians. I'm moving to CA because all the great ones always play there, not fair..except PT, he is the only one that feels for us "Texans". I truly appreciate that one...

Hughes' voice has always been awesome. Listen to his background vocals on the theme song from "Dragnet" the movie(City of Crime). His voice is so....I can't think of a good enough word to describe it but it's so easy to recognize, his style, like on the live accoustical "Stone Cold", when he sings gives me chills! Still trying to figure out why he's always background singer. (well not ALWAYS)

Back to the drummer "thing", I think even I could play as good as Ringo..I just can't stand him for some reason,(maybe because I never liked the Beatles?)but admire what they did.

Pat still rules!

I always thought Stone Cold was a Rainbow tune sung by Joe Lyn turner. I saw Glenn Hughes last summer with PT & VOCR and he was unreal.I have waited 25 years to see the man live, but alway's new him as the lead vocalist for Trapeze, co lead vocals with Coverdale in DP 73-76, lead vocals on Black Sabbath Seven Star, lead vocals in Hughes/Thrall including part of that Dragnet song, lead vocals Gary Moore's Run for Cover, lead vocals on 8 or 9 solo albums. I knew he sang back up on Whitesnake's Slip of the Tongue, P.T.'s Stevie, a couple Motley Crew songs, a Stevie Salas song here and there, and maybe a couple others. I love music just like the rest of you Hammerheads, and when I consider the 800 plus CD's, hundreds of LPs, countless tapes and a life time of diggin tunes, I'm left with one thought: The Beatles transend time and space, long after we have vacated this planet, their music will survive for the rest of recorded history. The Beatles were four mortal men, but they were hard wired to forces way beyond this planet.

Stratcat! Did I miss an email from you? Please, drop me another one.

As far as Black Light Syndrome, I have both BLS and Situation Dangerous. I wasn't really knocked out by them but maybe I'll give them a re-listen.

Liquid Tension Experiment is an awesome exercise in top-notch musicianship. Two CDs featuring John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater on guitar and drums, respectively, Jordan Rudess on keyboards, now also of Dream Theater, formerly toured with Dixie Dregs and played with Vinnie Moore on at least one unbelieveable album (Mind's Eye or Time Machine, check out "Prelude: Into the Future" for one awesome song), and Tony Levin on bass and Chapman Stick (of course best known for backing Peter Gabriel but I believe also did a stint with the legendary Pinkest of Floyds). It's entirely instrumental ranging from high-velocity jams to poignant piano/guitar duos. I've replaced them both at least once in my collection due to loss/breakage. Definitely a must-have.

Blu...I have my own independent opinion of you and your...for lack of a better word...shenanigans... on this board and Cindy's. Whether or not I am a "pal" of Rich's has no impact on this whatsoever. I suppose you can feel free to express your opinion here, but for you to trash someone, and I quote "To say this drummer is below par - DRUMMZZ is not saying much about what you know concerning those who beat the skins." to an actual drummer (and a nice guy, too, hi Chris!) is at the very least rude. As I understood it, this was a place for Pat Travers fans to share ideas and thoughts, not for playground bullies to try to intimidate people with who's opinions they disagree. It's clear that you can't play in the same sandbox with lots of people, Blu, you might give that some thought. 'Nuff said.

Well, I'm off to plug in my guitar and continue trying to plod my way through "The Pain", one of my all-time favorite PT tunes. Wish me luck, any of you that aren't too steeped in their own negative BS to do so.

Ciao, Hammerheads!

Carl

Good Luck Carl!!

No negative BS steepin' going on here! Just the occasional good ole' fashioned self indulgent kicking-my-own-ass funk, drunk alone, and fleeting moments of clarity!!!

I know very few people here well enough to make any valid comment on their character, but the few that I do know who they are, what I think, and where they stand. That said...'nuff said! This will not be the place for me to vent any personal issues.

Peace, Love, and Pat Travers!
Later...Jim

And don't forget why we are not working today! God Bless America and everyone who ever served.

LOL! Jim. Hey Carl, ca you actually play "The pain"? Man, I love that song! To me it is probably Pat's very best work. He seems to really enjoy playing it also. You know at one point I had asked Pat what his favorite to play is, but I'll be damned if I remember what he said. Well, you what they say about your memory as you get older... ummm actually I forgot.... Just turned 41 on the 24th. Had a fantasic time here in Ocean City, MD. Danced about 5 hours straight! Good thing to, I think with the 15 or so beers I drank I would have been a little over hammered if I had not kept moving. Man, nothing like this club called Seacrets. It is the largest bar in the USA. Literally hundreds and hundreds of beautiful women to dance with. Naturaly I brought my own, but i can still look and flirt. Nancy knows I am coming home with her. Anyway, just happy to be enjoying my freedom today. Thanx to all those that sacrificed so much to have made this possible. Let us be vigilent to not let the government take this away from us in the name of securtity. As Jefferson said..."Those who would sacrifice liberty for the sake of security, deserve neither liberty nor security" Powerful words after a couple hundred years... huh? Peace out. Rich

Hello PT lovers! It's been a while, but i'm here watching in the background. Just wanted to second that nomination for The Pain, it's a fantastic number, the man plays it with such passion. I've been playing it in the clubs and pubs and it ALWAYS gets a great reaction. It a song you can really pile into.
As for drummers, bever forget the great Ginger Baker, Brian Downey of Lizzy was tremendous live and much underrated, and Simon Phillips was the other monster I have seen live. As for Bass players, Mars Cowling tops my all time list!

You are so full of it dude. Put words in my mouth or misconstrue me. Druumzz said he wasn't into Anysley Dunbar and sub-parred him. I stood up for my friend. Nothing else intended. Your "sandbox" is nonsense talk. Alot of people BS there way around this board. My info is so awesome that it could be perceived as BS, when actually treu. Do you think the Zephyr Cove, NV show is BS? What's the Draconian punt. I never go to Cindy's Board - so keep hiking. You send it around my friend and it comes back around, ask Ginbel. - I'm out

Happy Memorial Day Hammerheads!

Too many posts too soon, so here are some of my thoughts:

-Happy Birthday Ginbel :)

-you want great kick ass fusion....Tribal Tech!

-Ansley Dunbar...much more of a drummer than most people know or for that matter much of his hired out session work would lead you to believe.

-Ginger Baker: check out Masters Of Reality's "Sunrise On The Suffer Bus" for what this man can do.....he's never sounded better.

-Beatles: "1" was the biggest selling release in 2000, selling just over 7 million copies. These songs are over 30 years old and half of the members are dead. There appeal transends time. Nobody can or will ever compete with them. Nuff said! :)

Hey ginbel: Tony Rich, Tony Rice.....how about Tony Williams (rip)? Now he was amazing! Check out Tony Williams Lifetime Project!!

Rod Morgenstein: unbelievable, even with Winger!!

Bill Frisell confuses me (and yes I am a guitar player. He just does nothing 4 me.

Thanks Travers Chick Fan and Rockpig! for seeing what I was saying about Aynsley and not taking it out of context. Thanks to Carl for the boost as well (never said Aynsley being below par). I have seen Pat many times over the years and with so many good drummers - many never making it on his albums.

I really like the drumming on the "Boom Boom"/"Whisky Blues" album which not too many people talk about. Scott Zymowski really tears it up. I think I met him before in Orlando at Music City (a music shop) back in about '90 or '91. I need to see the Boom Boom video before I can say that was him for sure, but it was a young guy who said he was excited about playing with Pat and played Yamaha drums. I am going to order the Toronto and NYE DVDs so I will see soon.

I'm with Unanimous2 and TraversChickFan! I want to put my vote in for "Bobby Jarzombeck" also for being an absolutely fantastic drummer!!

Check out John West's latest release "Earthmaker" with Bobby Jarzombeck on drums. Bobby is UNBELIEVABLE, playing double bass rolls and very unique stuff all over this CD. He knows when to turn it on and when to hang back - very tasteful playing. Fans of Rainbow and Dream Theater will dig John West's stuff for sure.

John has two other solo CDs titled "Permanent Mark" & "Mind Journey". Permanent Mark has the amazing Shane Gaalaas on drums and Jeff Kollman on guitar.

Bobby's work with Halford is also very good if you like heavy metal.

Thought some of you might enjoy checking this out. I was curious what Scott Zymowski (drummer from School of Hard Knocks (partly), & the Boom Boom/Whiskey Blues Live albums is up to nowadays. I found this page poking around looking for info. He is in an Orlando band which "... performs five days a week at Florida’s most popular theme park". There is a pic of Scott at the bottom of the page. Man how times change...lol

Even wierder is the title of this band's second CD which is listed in the second to last paragraph ....oooo man the irony!

Drummz-that would have been Scott Z. or Kevin Neal. They were both similar drummers IMO with their style. Scott was on the Toronto video. Kevin wasn't far behind. Kevin loved playing with Pat but I don't believe he and Mars got along very well.

Yeah Blur, you may be right about it possibly being Kevin Neal instead of Scott, I dunno. Looking at the pic of Scott on the Off Kilter webpage it is hard to tell, but then people can change quite a bit in 13 years. I remember he had long dark hair and couldn't have been more than 18-20 years old at the time. I remember being pretty shocked at his age and him getting a PT gig - a little jealous at the time I might say ...lol. He was in the store buying sticks and talking like a typical poor musician but glowing at the fact of being able to play for Pat. Seemed like a pretty new thing for him at the time. I would have bragged too ...haha

I did meet Keith Cronin who was around at that time also. He drummed for Pat for a bit and I believe is credited on one song on Hard Knocks. Keith frequented Music City also. I got to see Keith play with Pat live as well in Orlando. I remember he was very good, playing on a very small kit. Keith was a real nice guy as I recall talking with him. He headed out to LA soon after (along with ten thousand others) to hit it big. Never heard anything more after that.

Good Morning All! Had a great time at the Mardi Gras. Ed and Daryl nice to of met you both!

Another surprise guest that came out during Alex Ligertwood was the original bass player of Santana (don't know the name) so that was kinda cool too!

Unanimous2, Glenn Hughes was awesome! I, too, just love that voice of his, and he still has it, true rocker form!!

And of course good ol' Pat, he was awesome! I took my daughter and her friends and to my surprise they came up to the front when Pat came on and my daughter knew the words to the songs! I have programed her since the day she was born playing the cd's in the car!!

Blu, Matthew and I are looking forward to Tahoe, looking forward to meeting both of you and to have an awesome time with you and the misses!

Hi Tony, didn't get to talk to you much on Saturday, hope all is well and the guys (Russ, Sal, Ben, Mike and Mark)"Wishbox" hats off to you guys, you sounded awesome!

Everyone have a great day and I can't wait until July!!

Oh and on the drummer issue! Everyone is unique in their own way and I do admire all the drummers I have mentioned along with some that others have mentioned! One in particular of course, my favorite, my husband!!

Happy Birthday, Rich!

Yeah, Blu, I plan to come up. Just opened a new office with a buddy of mine in Sacramento, so can get to Tahoe pretty easy, I think. We're negotiating for a school modernization project, so hope to be under contract by then.

RockBacon, Apostrophe is one of my favorite Zappa albums. Got Diamond Dogs on vinyl, but the turntable pulled a Post Toastie so I can't check it out. That's an impressive list of stuff that Aynsley worked on! The PA deal is still moving forward. The stroke victim was given until this Friday to respond, and my attorney thinks the board has already made their decision. It's due no later than July 1, but I kind of expect it by mid June. Now I'm working full time to get the lenders and investors lined up so we can be all ready to go right after the decision is handed down. It hasn't been fun, but if it works I'm all set! Got many other irons in the fire, too, so if there's anything right in the world I'll be okay soon.

Hope you all had a great weekend! Nice PT photo, Ed!!

Posted on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 - 03:21 pm:

Well, I made it through another PTB weekend. Sunday night it was at a big street festival thing in Palatka Floriduh. I only talked to Eric and Rick for about 30 seconds or so before thier set, but talked with them for about 20 minutes afterwards. The guys are all fine and healthy. They did thier usual set, but Rick and Eric did make a few mistakes and Pat did have to change up until they got back on track. I don`t think anybody in the crowd really noticed, but I`ve seen their show a bunch of times so I kinda picked up on it.

Mondays show was right on Cocoa Beach. It was a big bright sunny day with plenty of ocean breeze. The PTB was the headliner with several bands opening for them. I got there at about 1 o'clock and Eric was already there putting together his drum set. Rick got there a few minutes later. Eric pretty much hung around the stage and Rick went off to leer at bikini babes. I just kinda wandered around. As the last band before the PTB was leaving the stage, Eric asked me if I had seen PT at all today because no else had seen him. A few moments later, PT and his family come wandering up. They had been just hanging out on the beach. After a quick sound check, they get rockin'. This set went a lot smoother but it was just a hour show. Afterwards everybody packed up and said goodbye and headed in their own directions. All in all it was a good weekend.

I did metion to Erick and Rick to drop in on the bulletin board and let everybody know that they`re still alive and well. I did take a bunch of pics and will be e-mailing copies to anybody that wants them after I scan them into my kumpewtr. S'later

I enjoyed Gary Hoey very much... I hadn't met him before but he's a real nice dude. Very talkative and friendly. Just real cool.

His music and guitar playing are exceptional as is his energy on stage.

He's backed by a rock solid rythym section, Cris Rock(?) and one of the coolest bass players I've ever seen... don't recall his name though.

Extremely enjoyable show!

The rest of the Mardi Gras pics are being downloaded to my PC as I type this.... then it may take a few more days to get uploaded to the webpage...

Just for info sake, that is Bobby Rock on drums with Hoey. Dunno who is on bass, don't recognize him (shades and a shaved head don't help either ...lol).

Bobby Rock has played with Nelson, Hardline, Vinnie Vincent and many others. He is way talented if you have ever seen him live or on a drum video. I was totally amazed when I saw his "Metalmorphosis" drum video. Tons of study and technic in that guy. Not some dumb metalhead drummer but real talent.

Mr. Hoey has had some great musicians play with him, and rightly so. Frankie Banali, Gregg Bissonette, Glen Sobel, etc. Good to see Bobby playing with such a great talent.

That is way cool you got to meet Gary Hoey. I'm jealous! ...lol

Just a reminder and update. The No Cal NYE DVD project is still on. This will prove to be THE PTB DVD to own. This NYE DVD is in NO WAY connected to Ginbel's (Rich Stansell, Delaware) version. Also included, will be exclusive, never before released PT footage.

You still got a room set aside for me?

Another NYE DVD? WOW -- we can play 'em in stereo!

I'm gonna keep politics out of it, and say, I watched the Etched in Stone NYE DVD last night, and it is most excellent! Great production job, Rich! I like the "film-like" quality to the video, the effect is a lot warmer than most video footage.

And the show itself, if I wasn't there myself, I'd be wishing like crazy that I had been! All in all, a very enjoyable DVD, and well worth having!

Now, it's back to the 5 1/2 hour Led Zeppelin DVD extravaganza!

Cheers!

Just wanted to thank Ed and Ken for filming NYE 2002. The videos look fantastic when used together! I know we were supposed to film the show too, but I was celebrating my B'day so their was NO WAY I was going to stay sober enough to do it, and Pat talked Rich out of doing it by saying "You're on vacation" and that other people were taping the show. Man, can you imagine if there was a 3rd video?! I can't even imagine!! To all of those who have seen the new DVD and have thanked us for putting it all together should also give an extended 'Thank You' to Ed and Ken who were so patient standing behind those cameras during the entire show.(I don't even remember everything from the show!! uhh, another CUP o' wine, please. lol)

Hooked,

The No Cal NYE DVD is from the same show as Ginbel is selling. As previously mentioned, it will also contain exclusive footage. The audio will be the highest quality. I have yet to see Ginbel's version, but as a technical sidenote (that will may be noticeable by some) - the video will also be of slightly better quality.

Mardi Gras Festival

Great time talking to Hoey, RM, Keith St. Jean and Eric Singer (RM's singer and drummer, repsectively), Alex Ligertwood and the other band members. Mr. Ligertwood is such a relaxed gentleman. You can tell he just enjoyed himself up there as a performer. Glenn Hughes, Ligertwood and PT make a good trio and friends. After I had someone take a couple pics of Ligertwood and me, Ligertwood promptly handed over his business card and asked me if I would send them off to him. Hoey asked the other photographer to send him his pics... these guys are just REAllY nice, very understanding, open musicians. Hughes is a MONSTER up on stage - what an incredible singer and performer! Singer even shared some secrets with one of the other drummers. Hughes readily autographed any CD insert coming his way ; ) My hand would not have lasted. TLO and the boys proved once again that they ROCK!! "Sounding better every time." TLO touring strikes again! Looking forward to the next show.

Okay PurpleHaze62 here is the info! I found it in the Interstate Music catalog - drums and percussion catalog:
Mike Portnoy - Liquid Drum Theater
Volume I - Features music from both Liquid Tension Experiment and footage shot at Millbrook Studios and Volume II - focuses on the Dream Theater and features shots at Beartracks Studio.

There is also another DVD called Mike Portnoy DVD which includes live performances one by DT and the other LTE.

Can't wait to get my PT NYE video especially with all the positive comments on the board! Take Care Everyone

ken... not having seen my version... how can you possibly say your video will be better? That makes no sense what so ever. As you say ... on a technical note... if you are including bonus footage... to be EVEN AS GOOD as mine you are going to have to put it on a double DVD. Without the bonus footage at best your video quality will only be as good as mine. I used the very finest video editing applications made, at any price...period. I also used dobly digital AC3 compression. I used a 2 pass variable bit rate encoding process at "mastering quality" that took 28 hours to render on a P-4 2ghz system. That encoder is hands down the very best on this planet. You will get no "better" results form any other application. As I said before you will have to put the show on two DVDs to even begin to get "better" quality. The problem is the show is 90 minutes and the average bit rate for video for 90 minutes is 6,497kbs. There is no way around this. Either you cut parts of the video out or span it across two DVDs. Even spanning across two DVDs does not mean "better" video. So much has to do with the MPEG2 encoder. The reason i use the encoder I use is because it is the best. The quality of my video is excellent and how you get the nerve to say yours will be better when you have not even seen mine is completely beyond me. I would love to hear that one explained. Furthermore... there is the editing process and all the special effects and editing software to be considered. I think you are basing your opinion on my previous work... big mistake. As anyone who has seen the NYE DVD compared to the others will testify... there is ZERO comparison.

Rich,

I know this stuff bores some of you to tears, but inquiring minds want to know.

I'm curious about the programs you used. I assume you used Canopus Procoder for the encoding.

I agree on the issue of video quality... if you encode at 6,497 kbs with a good encoder with the settings properly tweaked, going at 9,300 kbs (which is basically the max) is not going to make a difference in picture quality on about 99% of the entertainment centers on which it might ever be viewed. Hell, you can drop that bitrate down into the high 4K range and still get really nice quality if you do it right.

Someone came up with a new application called Excalibur that works with Vegas Video that is supposed to really be the ••••. It's supposed to make multi-cam edits a snap. I'm going to test it out on the Twisted Sister show I filmed recently.

Hey randy, Yep, I used Pro Coder. It is truly the very best encoder going. There are some that in some ways come close, but none beat it. Soooo many pros are switching from other apps to this one. Yeah the max bit rate for audio and video combined is 9.8mbs(DVD spec. 1) You actually have to cut that to about 9.3mbs or most DVD players will skip. Anyway, then you have to alot for menus and DVD structuring space. Basically this means the video itself can never exceed 8.1mbs. regardless of how small the file is. So you can get the very best quality available all the way up to 70 minutes of video(ALL the calculations are assuming you have AC-3, if not don't even bother making DVDs these days at all). This video is 90 minutes. So I got away with 6.4mbs. Can anyone tell the difference between this rate versus a higher one and putting the DVD on two discs?... in a word...no. That ProCoder ensures that. Now if you exceed the 90 minutes by adding bonus footage say about 10 minutes worth...you drop down to 5.8mbs(IF you use AC-3)Again this SHOULD be okay as long as you really know what you are doing AND use the right encoder. Here is the thing...This was taken using two handheld consumer level digital cameras. These cameras use a single chip CCD array and not a 3 chip(seperate RGB)configuration, PLUS and the most damning... they use interpolation for zoom. Any loss of video quality is from the cameras, not the DVD authoring process. No matter what you do, you cannot "fix" that. Now, having said all that... the video quality on this DVD is fantastic! I have heard of Excalibur, but I use Adobe Premiere for all my editing. ProCoder plugs in to it as does Adobe After Effects, Hollywood FX Pro, Commotion Pro, Title Decko Pro, and of course Adobe Photoshop. We used ALL those plus Pro Tools for the audio. The authoring we used DVD Architect. We have full moving motion menus on this puppy and I mean moving! LOL! It was a s-load of work, but this is the very first original work the band is thrilled with. Okay that is my techno babble for today. LOL! Enjoy! Oh and by the way... email me you address again. I hate laptop mice. Too easy to hit the "delete" key.

Cindy - the proceeds or profit or whatever you wanna call it for any projects that I am involved in will go to the band. I would think that would be understood and not have to be said.

I volunteer ALL my services.

Frankly, I am a bit insulted that you would ask that here on the board. But I understand and accept your concern. But please don't be - concerned that is.. I assure you and anyone else who might be worried about this. Pat gets the royal red carpet treatment from me always has, always will.

I hope we can avoid the current downward trend this board is taking over this NYE DVD yet again. There is no need to get this all started up all over again. There just happens to be two versions of the same show! Sheesh!

You know - if we keep the negative rhetoric down about these video projects we may all be able to enjoy many more of them.... but if they are going to become internet flame fodder.... then I don't think it'll be allowed much any more. Let's not screw things up before they get started.

As far as the 2 NYE DVD's go I don't know who's is gonna be better. Rich's is KILLER. So Ken has a tall order to fill. Maybe it will be better - Maybe not. I don't care. Well actually I do... I would hope that Ken's is better... then Rich's next one be better than Ken's next one and so on.... But I'm gonna enjoy them all regardless. No self respecting Hammerhead wouldn't.

Nuff said I'm outta here.

PS - Hey Darly thanks for helping me out last night Mary and I had a fun visit!!! You're toocool buddy!

Aw'ight Rich, I just order the PTB NYE DVD from E-Bay. I don`t even own a DVD player yet, but will get one soon, I suppose. The other week I went into the local Blockbuster to rent a video. Ha, they don`t hardly have no video tapes no more! I rented a DVD called "Under Siege 2". The DVD didn`t work in my video player, even after I adjusted the carburator! I watched the DVD with the aid of a strong magnifying glass and my old record player. The story was about a "cool guy" that does karate on a battleship. The only good thing about it was a babe with great gazonga`s.

WOOHOO, PTB NYE DVD party at Ricks place this weekend! Hey...... Ain`t doe`s guyz in Kannada this weekend?
Rick.., I ain`t gonna fall for that trick again!! After the 6th time, I`ve learned my lesson!

I still ain`t scanned the pics from last weekend`s PTB gigs into my kumpewtr yet. I`ve been busier than a one legged man in a paper hanging contest this past week at werk, and tonight I`m going out to waste a few more brain cells! S'later, JH

Hey All! I just read a couple days worth of posts! Always fun! And I have always been an SMF!! And damn proud of it!!

Do you guys remember when I told you I was a deviate!? Well, I'm better now! Yesterday I had surgery for, and I quote the doc, "a severely internally deviated septum." Why do you find these things when your 40 after having them your entire life is beyond me! Well, he took a whittling knife to the cartilage in my septum, removed a hunk of bone, and sewed my @$$, 'er nose up! Better than new! Yesterday morning upon coming out of the anasthesia I asked them why my throat hurt so damn bad. The nurse said they intubated me. (tube down my throat) She acted real insulted when I asked them why they made it out of barbed wire! Seriously! She got pissed! I came this close () to not getting my morphine!! By the way morphine good! Loritab good!

Hey Cindy! Thanks for the wonder! I have been trying to control my drunken stupor posting, or is that drunken stupid posting! For the record, my funks are farther apart and less severe. I may be almost done.

Rich, I will order the PTB NYE DVD ASAP FYI! I haven't yet as I have been AWOL, FUBAR, and SNAFU'd! I'll try and paypal you today or tomorrow.

Everyone be good to each other. Let's don't worry about any of this petty crap. Just have fun, enjoy what you can, ignore what you can't, and try and make a positive difference in someone's life everyday. Most of you guys do in mine.

Later...Jim

Randall make sure of your plans, before I leave your passes at the gate for you + 1. Rooms are sold out where we had to book them for the bands. I'm paying for 30 rooms at $150 a pop. I didnt know you were coming until now, I thought you were busy, so I only booked as many rooms as I would need. Try the Lakeside Casino in South Lake Tahoe, NV.

TCF - your passes will be at the gate for both days.

Scott and Jo, your passes will be at the gate for Saturday Only as I recall.

The Event is called the "LAKE TAHOE ROCKIN BLUES FESTIVAL", July 26th & 27th, SAT/SUN. I think we are placing tickets on sale with tickets.com June 6th. $25.00 for one day in advance,; $29.00 at the gate or $45.00 for two days. I will have a "buffet" laid out backstage in the green room area. We will have a little beer, water, softdrinks and sandwich munchers. Plue we will have all those concessions for you to spend your money at (lol). If you are into camping at the Zephyr Cove Campground, (next to and across the street from the venue), you should rent a space fast. Good for Motorhomes, trailers, campers, tent people etc. It's a real nice park, like a KOA, but better.

The link to see all the stuff is... http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=ptbroxx&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=25 intially the higher price will be listed, but when you click on the item to view it the lower price will come up. It takes eBay a while to update. I will be listing a few more PTB items as well. Peace Out, Rich
