TCF, Thanks, I appreciate the offer! But I think me & my better half (Catherine) need a hotel for Fri & possibly Sat, as we're way overdue for a vacation! We definitely should hook up for the show, though, with any other Hammerheads that will be there! We still have to make sure we can make the trip, but it's a good possibility. Thanks for the help! To all of those fans looking at going to Tahoe for Blu's gig, featuring an outstanding line-up.....CONFIRM that the show is listed with every artist and local Tahoe entertainment guides before booking airline and hotel. Blu gets busy as we all do and if the show fell thru for any reasons at the last minute he might not be able to notify the board. Show appearances can change very quickly, even actual concert dates. A word to the wise.....PT does do shows at the last minute but rarely if ever cancels, still get definatives before paying deposits on rooms and plane fare. Just a heads-up! The Texas/Oklahoma shows are on-sale now and on-line...go see, go buy and lets PARTY!! Love to all. |

Good Morning Everyone! Well showing up to work, I think you all know that I am here at NASA, Moffett Field, was even tighter sercurity than when the war broke out. Our good ole' President Bush flying in this morning at 9:00a. I start work at 6:00a and there must be at least 20 news crews outside the gate! He is going to speak at United Defense (get ready I am going to vent!) where my Daddy fell off the platform building one of his Titanium Bradleys and BROKE HIS HIP AND LEG AND IS STILL OFF WORK TWO SURGERIES LATER!! Okay, that's all I wanted to vent! Have a great day everyone! P.S. Go Lakers!! |

Just came back from watching Air Force One Land (what an incredible plane!) and the motorcade with the President drive by. Kinda cool, never been that close to a President, he was smiling and waving (dork!). They shut down Hwy. 101 for 10 minutes to let his motorcade proceed. What a mess! |

TCF, Thanks for the link, that will be a big help! Still not sure if we're going, but if we do, we will have to hook up, at least at the front of the stage! And hey all, let's avoid politics here, I get my fill of it on the nightly news! Rock & Roll is an escape from all that! Cheers! Steve Z (not Jim, I try not to post when I'm drunk!) |

Texas Rich is right. So many details. The festival is not till the end of July. You will see NO CONFIRMATION on anything until every single detail is worked out. Look for an official announcement sometime after May 8th. Ginbel quit bugging the Tahoe Chamber and organizers, you should know that we organizers like to spontaneously splash the announcement with simultaneous ticket sales available. I only gave a headsup that something was brewing to PT fans on this board. Not a trouble maker like you. Seagal called me an asked me to keep it down about him. Now you have him a little ticked at me. Thanks again Gumball. Also, as far as I'm concerned Ginbel would be banned from the concert for several reasons that I don't need to explain here. What another joke you sent me. LOse my numbers and address -- Get Lost!! With final show confirmations, we will then give ideas for lodging places, there is a campground next door to the venue that has campsites etc, etc and other options. All please wait for an official announcement, before making final plans. You will have 60+ days to make your plans I promise. Thank you kindly - Blu |

LOL! How on earth could I have made Steven Seagal made at you? That is funny. Also I did not "bug" anyone I simply called the public relations office to confirm the show before I get plane tickets and a hotel. Due to the fact that the show is so close they were the ones who pointed me in this and that direction, because they said that the permits for an event of this size surely must be in place by now or they doubted there is time to actually get them approved. So off they went to look for such things and there are none. THAT is my fault? Not. Look, I have a valid question about this matter and then we should let this drop... IF you are putting a show on for Pat and or you are in contact with him at all... why are you asking me for stuff that he gave me? Why don't you simply ask Pat for the stuff. He is the one who has it. He gave me copies of it, why won't he give you copies of it? I mean really? C'mon who is kidding who here? If he wanted you to have it, wouldn't you have it? This is NOT my material and I do NOT have permission to hand it out... PERIOD! You want it... ask Pat for it and leave me alone. ... "banned from the show" hmmm.... I bet I could get a pass from someone.... IF the show actually existed. How is Bad Co going to play without Paul Rodgers? He is touring with Kansas and Bad Co. has ZERO tour dates till 2004. Whatever dud. Tell Steven Seagal I liked him that movie with DMX. LOL! |

My last post on this side of the board because of Gumball. Last time. . . When the show is finalized May 8th I will post one more time for those of you who realy love PT. This is not an approved PT site, PT gets zero profit from it. Ed is a great man and does this for zip also. You should all lay off him and be lucky you can talk hear. Ed had his problems with Gumball too. Don;t be naive. Be smart and make your own decision from your heart. PT will have a new "official" site someday soon. A Normal concert does not get promoted until usually 5 weeks out. This one will begin 60+ days out. Paul Rogers and Brian Howe had a lawsuit. They both hold 50% of the name. They both sang/sing the songs, Brian wrote almost every song and was with Bad Company for 19 years. Rodgers had the ego attack and left the band. Brian cut "Holy Water" and the next Bad Co. CD. He is great. Mick Ralph, lead guitar hangs with Brian, nobody from Bad Company hangs with Paul. Paul draws slightly more in attendance. Brian averages 1,200 to 2,800 consistently and gets 20K dates. See for yourself Bad Company featuring Brian Howe or Bad Company featuring Paul Rodgers. Rodgers = $50 a ticket. Brian @ $29 a ticket. The bands sound the same. Do all the same tunes. Brian has his own last two Bad Co. CD's. I like Brian better. Maybe you will too. Pat plays with Brain, maybe an encore allstar jam at this event that doesn't officially post until after May 8th. Get it Ginbell (Rich Stansell)? Like I said Ginbel you screwed me so bad that you couldn't get into the show with any kind of pass unless you make amends with me. You can BS this board but we know the truth - don't we? You send me what you promised in the beginning or you are banned. I will have you escorted out easily. As for Seagal, you could have been the only $%&*( to have stirred this up. - I have come to know you well as so have others. Stay away for your own good. I have been told by many to ignore - you...you do not exist. So stay out of my workings. Everyone else, email if you like. I'd love to get your feedback. Bad Company, Pat Travers, Blindside and Montrose. Look out, RPG's coming in on this one. The Hooker Family Band, featuring Zakiya Hooker, Robben Ford and Blueline, and one more Blues act, maybe Johnny Lang, could go up for sale as early as May 8-15 for the July 27, Sunday Blues. Plenty of time for everyone to make their plans. I will have to determine who I will Backstage Guest list on this and all because of the Ginbel incident. - Ken, Regina, Randall, maybe Scott & Jo (i'm not sure abut them) are in for sure. Convince me at concertservices@aol.com I'm out for a quite a while- Either way the show will be a sellout without you Gumball. You tick me bad -Blu |

Hé Ed! and all other music lovers Rory Gallagher!? Then it's time you'll discover our Dutch guitarist Julian Sas as well. We'll have to wait 2 weeks now and then he's playing in our hometown!! We personally promoted him with flyers I made myself (my job is printer, so I used my own picture, designed and printed it). We will be in the newspapers this wednesday cause of this, very cool! We talked about our love for music and the pictures I make of all gigs we visit, including PT! We talked a lot about him, and Rick and Eric too. Not all stories, of course... We miss PTB!!! and there are no dates for Europe But to get back to Julian Sas, he is so good, he was even invited by the Rory Gallagher Band to replace Rory! He did some tributes to Rory with the band, but it was temporary, cause he wanted to continue with his own band, The Julian Sas Band. He is alway's doing at least one song of Rory during his gigs, I Wonder Who. Rory will alway's be his biggest idol, and you can hear it in his music. So time for you to listen to Julian Sas right now!! Go to the site, www.juliansas.com and listen to some short mp3's available. You won't regret!! Last friday we saw Michael Katon, this boogieman from Hell can play loud too!! well, have a nice weekend, greetings from The Dutch Hammerheads! |

Well, the appeal hearings are over and the opposition attorney was chastized for making false statements -- ALL of them! Now I have to wait til July 1 for a decision -- will be chasing the money between now and then. Maybe THEN I'll be able to resume living -- it's been a trick getting by in the interim. Got two gallery shows coming up, one May 8-10 at the "Architects as Artists" exhibit during the national artichokes convention in San Diego, everyone in the room ultra-famous but me (more than hoping for some good osmosis), and the other in Santa Monica starting May 16 is a fundraiser for Russell Means' new TREATY School that I designed -- I'm finishing the model now. Looks like a buffalo that was launched from 30,000 feet -- SPLAT!! Earth integrated, rammed earth, greywater, solar, etc . . . Heavy cultural significance for the Lakota Sioux. Lots of cool stuff going on in spite of calamity - this too shall pass! Be good everyone |

I am supporting her decision to dump me. She is an absolutely beautiful person and I am almost ashamed to have brought any pain into her life. We are/were absolutely perfect together, according to both of us. The pain is with her conscience. We hit 90 days today...and then I got the stinky shoe. It may sound mean, but considering that my ex-wife and I had been so unhappy for so long, this is going to hurt worse. It's times like these... Anyway...NO PITY PARTY FOR ME!! Except my private ones! YES 6 FLAGS NJ!! We are there! Nancy has been bugging me to go! It is not too far from us. Helpful note on the hangovers... I discovered a little trick that works for everyone who has tried it. For about every three beers drink a shot of Jagermeister and drink a glass of soda water. Just sip the Jager over about an half hour. No kidding, no hangover. My European friends have always sworn by this. Finally I decided to try it and as long as you are not setting out to get hammered (sorry Jim)you will feel a lot better the next day. The ingredients in Jager have never been fully disclosed to the public. Germans love it! I prefer Applecorn! Hmmm... yummy! |

Hey Rich & Nancy! I need to be here Saturday, July 5: Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson NJ. have you guess exactly why yet cause "I wanna ROCK" ? But that is the day I need to try to get there. I am going to do some research online and check out flight costs, and what airport to fly into and hotels etc. It isn't a good time at work for me taking time off, since the one person I need to book my holidays around has already booked her during that time. So I might only be able to get a 3 or maybe a 4 day weekend. |

Hey Cindy, That sounds fine. Actually it will be fine if you want to stay with us. You can fly into Philly. We are 15 minutes south of the airport. I thin you have to fly into Philly anyway JFK and La Guardia are too far from 6 flags. The only other real option would be Scranton, but you are still further than Philly to get to 6 flags. Plus we can drive. I promise not to say "Please for to come with me" when you step off the plane. LOL! |

Hey Specks! The Recher Theater DVD is done and for sale! $15.00 plus $5.00 for shipping 90 minutes with Pat, Rick and Eric. Video is good and the sound is great. Really good show. Contact us at ginbel27@comcast.net Nancy and I were invitd by Pat to attend, but were we way too hungover from the previous night to go! Glad it was taped though. The REAL kick ass DVD is the NYE DVD!! Ready for sale at the end of next week. The video is edited and "in the can" as they say. It is now being authored to DVD. This is THE DVD to have!! Thanx mostly to Ed and Kens videography! That plus an insane amount of computer work! Cool that it just worked out perfect. When ones camera footage could not be used, the others could. Cut it REAL close in several spots, but we must have had Kahrma on our side. Great job guys!! Beats the hell out of that Boom, Boom video! Anyway that will be for sale at the end of next week. |

We'd have to head back that eve, after the show, which wouldn't be too bad, it's about a 5 hour drive. We'll see how it works out! If not, I'll just have to go see King's X at the Key Club in Hollyweird! Will have to go look for Power Trio today!! Cheers! Steve Z |

Hey Blur, I believe the critic for Rolling Stone is "Peter" Travers. The Travers race is a premier horse racing event held every August in Saratoga, NY (very close to my home town). Anybody like to see the horses should try to make it to Saratoga Raceway. It's one of the nicer tracks in the country. Also close by is SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center), a great outdoor amphitheatre for concerts of all types. Not to mention that downtown Saratoga is one of the nicest places to hang. I've been told it's sort of an east coast North Cali kind of place. Very historic, laid back, but with a bustling nitelife. -alright, enough of my praises to Saratoga! Now off to find PT Power Trio. |

Hey Nancy & Bert, I`ve talked to both Rick and Eric in the past couple of weeks, and the Cocoa Beach show is an afternoon gig. Don`t forget that they play the evening before in nearby Palatka at a crab festival. Palatka is a town about 35 miles north west of Daytona, on the St. John`s river. Cocoa Beach is about a 45 minute drive south of Daytona. I hope to meet ya'll at both shows. S'later, John "PTB Stalker" Howe |

PT POWER TRIO!! Got it yesterday in between 3 gigs I had! (It's a very schizoid life, playing rock star one day, back at work the next! ) Anyway, this CD is pretty darn rockin!! Specks, I agree, Tramp & Hwy 61 are definite highlights, and I also really dig Day of the Eagle, that one's a natural for Pat. I think PT & Trower should do an album together, call it T'n'T (Travers 'n Trower!) What a 2-guitar band THAT would be! Someone call Mike Varney... Anyway, I found it at Best Buy for $14.99 They had 2 of them, so don't let 'em tell ya 2 weeks! Also picked up the new Yardbirds CD, Birdland. Has guest spots from Brian May, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Slash, Jeff Beck & a few others. Sounds pretty good so far, half remakes of old Yardbirds classics, & half new stuff. Cheers! Steve Z |

I heard a Trower interview recently and he really isn't into doing gigs with other people. He was very honest about - said he likes being in complete control. I recently got the master tape of a great Trower show in Florida back in 2000. Nice closeup shot and fantastic sound. Randy |

Hey Nancy & Bert, All`s Eric told me was that is indeed on The Pier sometime in the afternoon. He probably doesn`t know, or forgot, the exact time. I`ll get in touch with him, or Rick, soon and get more detail. Cocoa Beach is about a six to seven hour drive from Key Largo. The mosquito`s are usually pretty bad tempered down in Key Largo this time of year, particularly in the evening. They don`t buzz as much as growl, and have even been known to carry wing tanks to store blood. Slapping them only makes them madder, ya gotta shoot them. S'later, JH |
