Yeah Rockpig, do tell how you were able to hear these reissues... the UK date is actually today (9/22) and the domestic date is 10/14.

btw, the first 4 that were remastered for CD were not "badly performed vinyl captures", they were DATs that were cut too hot and therefore resulted in the static that you hear....

let's hope you got poor advance copies of these 3 as well....

fingers crossed

emailing Lemon Records as we speak....

btw ..... TowerRecords.com has Hot Shot, Radio Active, and Black Pearl at only $11.99 each (with free shipping on orders over $25) ..... available 10/14/8 (in the states).

That's 7 bucks cheaper than Amazon.com

HEADS UP HAMMERHEADS....

Avoid the latest batch of PT "remasters" (I use that term loosely) being offered by Cherry Records. They sound like crap. Another badly performed vinyl capture (Stansell's versions are still the best). There can be NO WAY that PT approved the final audio "remaster" on these. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Hey Pat, can you give us the story when you have a couple of minutes?

On a better note, I heard the jams at the Paul Reed Smith gigs this weekend were through the roof! Sean was on drums for these gigs as well. Welcome back, Sean!

The first 3 times I saw PT was back in the riggs/cowling daze and pat was usuallly wasted. So, everytime I see PT now it is 100 times better than back then. Everything nowadays is Gravy!!!!!

so I's out at a local put tonight celebrating my wife quiting her job (& thanking God we can afford it) when all of a sudden I hear the opening stanza of "Snortin' Whiskey". Couldn't believe my ears. Somebody played it on the juke box. Just thought it was cool. I don't usually hear PT out unless I'm playin' it!

hope you all have great weekend and that any friends in Texas are doing OK

On musicradar.com:

Pink Floyd's Rick Wright sadly passed away this week. Which track do you think was the highlight of his Pink Floyd career?

Remember A Day -- 8

Echoes -- 117

The Great Gig In The Sky -- 182

Us And Them -- 165

Marooned -- 15

Great Gig was my vote -- seems like a very appropriate song to listen to Wright now.

My guitarist called to tell me that Jimi Hendrix died on this date 38 years ago. RIP Jimi. Everbuddy crank up some Hendrix and toast the toast in his honor. I'm gonna do that, while reflecting on PT's Hendrix story. That's a great one!

Tony D,
Thanks for the link to the Riot videos, I'd long since forgotten how good this band were. I once got my copies of Narita, Fire Down Under and Rock City signed by all the band before I saw them supporting Saxon in England. Gonna hunt down those old Lp's...

BTW, anyone in the US taking an interest in the Ryder Cup? I know you've had a rough time of it in recent matches, and if that rendition of 'Dream On' at the opening ceremony today is anything to go by then I think the US may struggle again. I know Pat likes his golf...hey Pat, who you shoutin' for??? See you in the UK next month. Mick & Caroline

Ok, so I went to the link provided for ordering the CD's and read the synopsis on the releases. It states that Pat approves of the final remaster/mix. PAT, CAN YOU VERIFY THAT FOR US??? I hope that's true and not a sales pitch, 'cause I just bought all 3 releases. They're out of Europe, so the Euro vs. the U.S. dollar makes these a little higher priced, but still not too bad by CD price standards. All 3 can be purchased for $51.56 which INCLUDES shipping. That works out to about $17.19 per disc. They also take Paypal. Here's to hoping they sound GREAT...

Just spotted this. Hope these remasters are better than that last bunch....

PAT TRAVERS BACK ON CD:
This month, Cherry Red Records is glad to release 3 Pat Travers CDs:
- Radio Active: Criminally overlooked until now, this 'lost' classic album finally gains a long-overdue re-assessment and in so doing, gains a first-ever appearance on CD.
- Black Pearl: Regarded by many fans as one of his finest albums, Black Pearl (1982) perfectly demonstrates why the Canadian born guitarist/vocalist also regards this release as a high water mark in his recording career.
- Hot Shot: Originally released in April 1984, Hot Shot was to be the last studio album of the Eighties for the Canadian guitar maestro and as such, is the final installment in our triplex of lost classic P.T. albums.
Check out these releases at: cherryred.co.uk/lemon/artists/pattravers.htm.

Go Bills!! It seems like we finally have team we can have hope in again!

Good game vs Jacksonville today. Both teams did decent, but either could have won decisively but for mistakes. Bills pulled it out in the end. Last year that would've been an "L".

Go Ducks! That was WAY too close against Purdue . . .

Hey TLO, nice to have ya back. A show in Jan at the Boardwalk in Orangevale would be killer. Even better a show over here on the west coast of FLA.
Going to Cali in Jan to visit my Aunt, so a west coast to west coast trip would be the ultimate vacation with some PTB shows thrown in. Can only enjoy the Cali greenery to a certain extent. Hell that's what put me in the hospital this year the first time.

TonyD, thanks for the Angel link, great stuff! Saw them a couple of times in the 70's, what a great show. A drummer buddy of mine is in a cover band out in Vegas with Frank singing. Would love to see a reunion happen!

Yeah, cool clip. PT's a hard working something-something.

Tony D -- ANGEL???? One of my all-time favorite bands. I had the great fortune to meet Frank Dimino at NAMM -- COMPLIMENTS OF TLO (thanks again Tony) -- about three years ago. Told him what a huge fan I am and that I've always hoped they would reform. He said that he was working on something with Mickey, so I guess this is what it turned into!

No audio on my 'puter in Seattle, so I;ll check the YouTube link when I get back to San Diego this afternoon. Thanks for the heads up!

TONY -- yer back!! Best Coast tour sounds good to me. See you here. Post dates please!

Greetings! I hope everyone finds themselves well!

It's been quiet here latley (and so have I )but I have been lurking and watching.
A change in drummers, too bad I didn't get a chance to see Randy Lane. I have enjoyed the varying talent that Pat has had on tour and in the studio. Did get to see Sean, Eric and Scott on tour and enjoyed them all. Thinking my fav. in the studio with Pat is Ansley Dunbar.
Well who do we get to see on tour this time?
Sean would be fine, as well as Carmen!
(let's start some trouble here, add in your picks)

Now on to other stuff; Soon to be released is remasters of Hot Shot, Black Pearl and Radio Active. (I would love to have legit copies of the first 4)I was wondering if these were legit with Pat's blessings and Pat to recieve his well deserved compensation.....I plan on getting them if they are.....any comments?

I'll try not to be such a stranger.
Cheers!

I just checked in a late arrival at our sister property next door. They are from Orangevale CA.
I mentioned the Boardwalk, and they said they go to all the Pat Travers Band shows there. Don't remember them from last Jan. Filled them in on all the PT news. It's a small world.

Any hint of a release date yet? Is Sean jusst a temp fill-in or is he coming back on a permanent basis? Now I'll have to go home after work this morning and watch the West Coast Rockin' DVD.

With our stuff on the street, I got a wild hair and signed up with ASCAP last week. It'll take 'em another week or two to confirm, but I thought it was a pretty cool thing to do. And those of you who know me KNOW how badly I needed another acronym behind my name! No room on my business cards for this one! LOL

We also signed up STEHM - "Pointing North" on CD Baby, so now you can order it at your favorite record store or online. They will also have ring tones very soon. It's also on Snocap.

Hey Mo'Head -- I took your advice and got your buddy to fix my head and five-string. The latter was a temporary fix, as my amp had blown the preamp in the Carvin. DAMN.

Pig -- don't know if I told you that I picked up the Ampeg SVT Classic with the 6-10 cab. Played on Mo'Head's bassist's gear, but the 8-10 cab was too much -- kind like playing through (really loud) a refrigerator . . . my first tube amp -- woo HOO!

YAY football! GO Seahawks! Be safe and happy this weekend, peeps

Sean is a great guy and fantastic drummer. For those of you that have never met him you'll find that he's like other guys that PT has had in his band-a fantastic musician and great ambassador for the band. It sounds like he'll be a temporary replacement but the dude kicks ass. I'm sure the boys won't miss a beat.

Hello Hammerheads,

To answer the question, Yes we will be playing Friday @ the Port Credit show. Sean "The Cannon" Shanon will be playing drums. He toured with Pat 1995-2000 so it's nice for him to return and play some shows with us.Sean contributed on the new cd as well.

Life is full of twist and turns and things happen that we don't understand or can explain. With that said, best wishes to my buddy, Randy. Hope all works out for him. I will miss him, but I will always be thankful for him introducing me into the Family. PT Rox!

Jerry Riggs is also in the Bobby Friss Band.
They have a few shows here in Florida this Fall
They're playing Gator's on Treasure Island Oct 3, and 4.
Any clue as to who the new drummer will in the PTB?

Man, I didn't realize that was Barry Dunaway. Every time I see a photo of him he looks nothing like he did on the back cover of the Hot Shot album. It's great to see PT and Jerry on stage. Hopefully time has healed old wounds. Those guys were really great together for a long time.

Hey Blur, thanks for the video link. That's the Voices Of Classic Rock Band that Pat's sitting in with. Jerry's been doing that gig for several years now. Some of you may remember the bass player in this video as well. It's Barry "Blatz" Dunaway who was with Pat & Jerry during the Hot Shot years...

And to further muddy the waters here is PT performing with Jerry Riggs over the weekend! I'm thinking that Jerry might be touring with Survivor/Jimmi Jamison and that this might have a one-time thing. There's another video of PT playing with Survivor at the same festival.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1o2j637B4g

Randy-best of luck to you. I hate I never got to meet you personally but maybe we'll meet at a pornography festival on the coast one summer. LOL.

Hello Hammerheads,

I wanted to blog about my recent departure from the Pat Travers Band. I have recently departed the band and will no longer be touring or recording with the band. I have enjoyed my time with Pat and the band, as well as meeting new friends and travelling the world. I will always be grateful of the opportunity Pat gave me to tour and record with him. PT Rocks!

Haze, yes there are somemore up tempo rockers on the disc.

Got 'em to download. $@%#$^@ WOW! Man, "Stay" really stays with ya! Pat's voice is sounding better than ever. The subtle beauty and emotion of the leads really set this one off. Sounds like a new best ballad! I really like the cough in the middle of the last solo, Pat! Nice touch : )

Diggin' those tasty riffs, and that cool groove on the chorus of "Could've Saved Me."

"Ask Me Baby!!!!!!!!!!" hahahahahaha What a fantastic intro! that's fun. The whole tune is quite unique. I can really tell you guys are loving the studio and the equipment and feeling the energy up there. Good stuff!

Groovy Guys and Gals,

I am happy to say that I is NO longer in construction, and NOW I am the Sales Specialist for (the one and only) Wild West Guitars who also owns The VooDoo Lounge here in Riverside. Steve's band Led Zepagain has played there as well as Pat and as soon as I can get them re-booked, they'll be here again! (no pun intended)

Okay, so you're probably askin, "the hell makes him think we care about his career choices????????" WELL, I'll tell ya. ALL forum members here at PT.com, (if you're a musician) will wanna buy your gear from me. Why? Because, I will BEAT, absolutely TEAR THE LIVING HELL OUT OF, ANY price Guitar Center and Sam Ash have to offer, NOT TO MENTION, I'll slap an additional 15% - 20% off!!! Think I be's kiddin??? I can't go into too much detail, But I gave Steve a deal and a half yesterday! Ask him...

Now mind you, there are certain Co's such as Mesa Boogie, Bogner and a couple of others that will not allow us to "fudge" with prices so to speak. In other words, with these Co's, THEY tell us what we have to sell there products for. Unless of course it's used (which we seldom do) But all else? LET"S ROCK!!!!!

www.wildwestguitars.com

www.voodoolounge.org

I can ship ANYWHERE so if'n ya be's feelin the need fer some ROCKIN, call me @ 951-369-7888 and let's see what kind of deal I can do for you. We are a high end boutique Guitar, bass, amp, and effect outlet ONLY. We sell NO drums, Keys, or any other instruments outside of the afforementioned description. Check out the website, come in for a tour, grab an axe and bend a string or two, or call me!

Cheers,
Bill

Well, looks like Fay is heading my way. Hope they don't tell us there is a mandatory evacuation on Monday. That will be the trip from hell to go to Winter Park with two dogs in a car with no AC. If no evacuation, the hurricane party is on. At high tide the water comes up to my door steps. Will have plenty of P.T. on the Ipod. My neighbor the power snob has a really loud gas generator that drones on non-stop. Really hope Fay decides to go elsewhere.

Any shows in Sept before the band heads to Europe? Is here a date for the release of the new CD yet?

NICE!

Great review. Looking forward to the new music -- hopefully the FM dorks will pull their heads out and remember that they are supposed to be selling MUSIC, not advertising!

Speaking of marketing, and at risk of being chastised again for self-promotion, I'm hoping some of you will go check out my band's new demo CD. We recorded it live and are still having it mixed, but it's pretty decent and good enough to give you an idea what STEHM is all about. All criticisms appreciated, especially from the one or two who (anonymously, go figure) told us to pack it in a couple of years ago. You can buy tunes and also sign up as a fan, which of course we would consider to be WAY cool! Pig, this mix happened after the raw CD you heard, and it still needs work but it quite a bit better than the original burn.

Thought I'd share this review with all of you. Found it on the Internet today. Nothing like seeing a good review online for all the world to see...Enjoy!

Pat Travers – Stick with What You Know Live in Europe
Provogue
www.pattravers.com
Rating: B+

Pat Travers is back and, as he states at the onset of the live disc, "My name is Pat Travers, this is my band, we’re gonna kick your ass." Recorded live in Europe, Travers is literally playing and singing at the top of his game. The album wisely opens up with the rocker, "Life in London" before going into the classic "Crash and Burn."

The title is a play on words on the classic Travers live album Go For What You Know. That album catapulted Travers to worldwide success. While this one may not have the same effect – it is a shame FM radio won’t pick this up as it is every bit as strong as the classic album from the past. Travers voice is perfect, gruff, low and biting while his guitar work remains breathtaking. His backing band of Kirk McKim on guitar, Eric Frates on drums and Frank McDaniel is the best he has had in literally decades. No one is going through the motions and collecting a paycheck. Every man on stage is playing his ass off and the feeling and energy come through loud and clear.

This is not only the best live album I have heard all year, it is one of the best Travers has ever released. If you are a Pat Travers fan then pick this one up as it sounds fantastic. If you are just discovering Pat Travers then find out what you have been missing. This is a winner from start to finish that needs to be supported by classic rock fans.

Truth be told, artists such as Travers are not selling millions of records. They need and count on our support to keep the music alive and moving forward. In return for our patronage, Travers has delivered a true gem of a concert playing all of his classics including "Boom Boom Out Go the Lights, "Heat in the Street," "Snortin’ Whiskey" and "Born Under a Bad Sign." Bottom line: Buy this one and crank it up loud for the neighbors to hear.

Hey Hammerheads,
Just checking in! Had a great time in Sturgis, made some new friends w/ Swampdawamp out of North Carolina. Check them out on my Myspace page. Pat used one of the guys Les Pauls for Red House and just loved it! Getting back to Canada on Tuesday to start slammin' new tunes down for upcoming CD.

Cheers,

Happy 40th birthday, Mr. Sasquatch! Leastwise according to your tired old bio . . . here's hoping you can get the wife to blow out the candle.

Morse -- I checked your new band out and added you guys as a friend on our site. Cool stuff!

So, we got SMOKED for the second time by a lcoal club. Showed up the first time, set up, did two songs at sound check and then got shut down by vice. The club had "forgotten" to get their cabaret license. They were apologetic, and they kindly rebooked us for last night. I begged my friends to come and make a good showing, I invited many hotties at the Del Mar race track Friday night at the Pinback show, and I spent two hours putting 325 flyers on car windshields at the sportfishing dock two blocks from the venue. Got a call from a bandmate on the way down telling me there would be no show -- STILL no license!!!! These #$#&ers didn't even have the courtesy to call us! There was no way for me to alert more than a few friends. Who knows how much credibility we may have lost, how many showed up, etc. What a bunch of CRAP! On top of it all, my gear took a dump last week so I went out and dropped $2200 on new Ampeg gear instead of getting my Randall stuff fixed as I might have if I had had more time. GEEZ I'm sure the pros around here will tell me that's par for the course . . . s'like getting slugged in the gut.

Steve Z, funny how these things work! I just got home from the local cd store with a remastered copy of UFO - Lights Out. Nice things about the 4 live bonus tracks, they are missing from a UK import called "On with the Action - Live at the Roundhouse 1976" which I have. Always nice to get new "old" stuff. Best part is, I found it in the used section, although still brand new, for $7.55!!! Now were are those remastered PT cd's?

Silver Haze & Dave,
Glad you enjoyed the show! Luckily we were still able to play. Pat's eye is doing much better now, but it was pretty rough looking under his sunglasses on Friday!
We had a great run all weekend. Just had alot of driving. Sat. and Sun. shows we added another new tune from upcoming CD, Got Love to Give Ya. The responce on the new tunes was great, it really made us all feel good about what we've been working on. Can't wait for it to be done and released.

Cheers,

I agree with you Silverhaze PT rocked the park Friday! he should have been later in the bill but oh well, I wanted to hear Stevie!!!!
it was a great show and we had a blast.
I also hear that PT had a bad eye infection from contact lenses and I know that is uncomfortable as hell but Pat still went on stage and kicked our asses!
so thanks Pat for being such a true professional and not cancelling the show even though Im sure you didnt fell 100 %
Kirk was awesome also and the new bass and drummer fit in nicely too.
later

PT Rawks London Ontario!!!

Well it was Quite the Pat Travers Experience Today!

I Have seen PT many times but I have never seen
the Pat Travers Band Play a Afternoon Show so I
wasn't sure what to Expect!?!

To see Pat Open a Festival was Rather Bizarre but
PT & the Band Kicked some Serious Ass for it being
so early in the Day!

The Band Played for 1hr & the Setlist was as follows....

Life in London
Crash'n'Burn
I Don't Care
Heat in the Street
Just Ask Me Baby (New Song!!!!)
Red House
If I Had Possession Over Judgement Day/Rollin'&
Tumblin'
Snortin'Whiskey
Boom,Boom Out Go the Lights!

The New Track 'Just Ask Me Baby'went Over Really
Well w/the Crowd & its a Fast Paced Rocker!!!

If the Rest of the New Cd is anything like JAMB
we Gotta One Helluva Smokin'Cd Coming @ Us in 2009!

My Only Disappointment of the Day was Not Hearing
the Band Play Black Betty & Rock & Roll Susie!:-(

But All in All Another Great Pat Travers Show!

To Bad the Band wasn't selling PT Swag,as I had
3 or 4 People Try & Buy My Pat Travers Shirt from
Me!

Hey Pat:Its Nice to have you Play Londontown on a
Yearly Basis...Lets Make it a Ritual & see ya Back Here in London for either Bluesfest or Rock
the Park Again in 2009....

Had a cell phone melt down AGAIN and lost yer number. You still go mine? I'm in Washington State at Brother Scott's house with Grace and Jake. How goes it?

Had a good time hanging with Pig last night for a bit. . . too brief! Had to make a stop on the way so ran late. Saw awesome scenery and lots of elk. COOL! Hydroplane races tomorrow and Sunday.

Randy-thanks for the updates! With all of the resoures available to you guys I'm imagining that this is going to be one fun album to listen to. Any time there's a PTB album on the horizon (especially original material) I'm like a kid in a candy store. I can personally remember where I bought each PT album from the time I was a kid up until now. From my first purchases at the local record store, to buying Radio Active at K-Mart, to recent purchases at FYE. Every time a PTB album comes out is a highlight and this time will be no different. Keep tearing it up and have fun!

hey Keggerly, sorry to hear about Marty. Sounds like he's doin' the Great Gig in the Sky now.

Keep it up MuddPuddle! Yer among friends. I got a recent reminder of why I quit drinking. Time to reboot.

Fermenter, better quit playing with that thing or it's gonna fall off!

Ran into Rockpig in Seattle for Billy idol last week. He's still alive and well! Steve Stephens was great -- LOTS of fun to watch. Billy started out off key but finally got the pipes in order.

Yeah, it's a cool family here. My band is opening for Motorhead's band The Dune Squad Thursday night. How cool is that? A gig born here . . . in PTB Cyberland!

Had my Saturday night gig CANCELLED by San Diego Vice cops! They showed up right after our two-song sound check to advise the owner that his cabaret license had expired. Oops! At least we got the two songs in . . . lots of work for all that though. They honored our tab, so we let them while breaking down. Ended up doing an acoustic jam at my house. Cool club though, and happily today we got rebooked for the 2nd of August. I guess you could say that it was cool to get shut down by vice???? not really though

Mudd:
I don't have the back thing nearly so bad but I know what your saying about giving things up, sleeping funny (then falling over after you get out of bed)and being able to ride a bike when so much else can't be done.
That's pisser, I slept funny or pulled a "Johny Morse" weekend before last. Woke up that Sunday all out of whack. Spent all last week trying to get better for the double days of mountain biking for the holiday weekend. Well just did one day and had to cut that ride short. Still greatful for the fun that I had.
Thank goodness for the Brewwife, family , biking and music. Help for all the problems that confront me. I couldn't count how many times I turned to Pat's music for that needed release also!
Best wishes to you Mudd....keep the wheels spinning!
Cheers to All!

Mudd,I tip my hat and bow my head in deference. my simple problems are infinitly small to the courage it takes to live in your world. Hang tough and have a hoot with the lil gal!! (LOL). To all my PT friends and family I wanted to let you know we lost a fantastic performer Friday night. Marty Benard passed around 8:15 slipped away in his sleep. Thankful he was in no pain. Want to thank all of you again for your donations to the benefiet for Marty and his family. and for your support letting me bluster on about things. This place is addictive and you all make this ole world just a bit better place to hang yer hat. Thanks to Mr. Travers for the music to live by and the rest of the band for being just as damned good to fans as any musicians I've ever met. Cheers, kegger

happy bday Toaster 45 eh. giving stuff up is hard, ive been at this for a wee bit quiting one thing or another , but somehow finding a replacement for it , till yer right back where you started.18 years ago i got on pain removers and the likes from the docs for spinal, disk, and a few other busted things, i couldnt walk for 3 years , even with 5 or 6 oxys in me, you begin to feel like a science project gone wrong, then one day they tell you you cant have any more, i use to photocopy the scripts and take em to the local rx,s and well 30 a week, copied 10 times, it takes longer to get the script filled than it does to get the script. then you get chemical phycosis and then the fun starts, along with depresion from not being able to work, and frustration with dealing with all the things in life like bills ,rent, kids, that you cannot do anymore, than the operations, and yikes diferent pain ,pills, and than they want you to see a shrink, cause they thing you may be a little crazy , uuuhm wonder why. so the alcohol becomes
a nightmare, as you have lost the ability to deal with anything but trying to jump out of your skin, and just want to be numb, you factor in the other silly stuff, the bumps, the smoking of whatever, even the best of men cannot keep this up or you die or get put in a small room with servants for a while till ya dry out, then a month later you have no feeling in your legs ,and you fall down and break rotator cups , lamps, and all kinds of things you would not think were breakable you learn how to fall after a while , kinda like riding a bike, after 10 years your subconceints starts to help you avoid doing things that will hurt you, but all it takes is one wrong move while your sleeping, and wow ya cant walk again, point is the pain & knock out pills will just make a bigger mess of a medioker mess, so i stopped with those things ,but still have to have on hand, cause you dont know when you are going to do just one wrong move and ,full body spasms, not nice, i would not wish these things on hitler. i cant imagine anything more painfull to have happen ,and as you all know i have quite an imagination. now i just knock myself out and exercise if i can get off the couch, for some reason days i cant walk , i can ride a bicycle,
i ride all year long , and up here a good part of that year its a bit frosty, just now being able to use wieghts but exercise machines are brutal, so the bike rules, all the other stuff, booze, smokes ext ,you just get tired of,
i have had so much pain just from my back ,i dont need it from drugs and smokes and all of those things we do, my good friend substanceabruce, could not quit he rehabed about 100 times, i got him off booze for a while , but he hit the junk, started drinking again and evaporated 43 years old .
so blur , keep postin and with any luck we will all be still here looking for pats gigs, by that time they will have posters rehab, kinda of probation if you post to much than ,ip disconect for repeat offenders,
I did meeta really cute midget today whilst in a store, she started a conversation with me ,which can have a few pitfalls in itself, she told my she was a journalist, so i asked her if she wrote short stories, i have a date with the beautiful runt, but i bet it will be very short.
hey thanks for the time here , i know many poeple who are worse off, and cannot be helped, at least i aint in the wheel chair , the mighty doctor told me i would be in by now, screw that,
cheers , like dick dale told me after his recent cancer removal, i aint dyin in a wheel chair, im dyin in an explosion on stage ,body parts everywhere and im taking half of you with me,,,,,ha

I gave up drugs about 20 years ago and rarely drink. And get this, I've never smoked a cigarette in my life. Well, at least not a tobacco cigarette. My biggest problem is this damn Pat Travers website. If I don't stop checking here 2-3 times a day I might just wind up wasting 20-30 years of my life on Pattravers.com

Oh yeah I forgot ,I want to know , right from the horses mouth, not that bastard horse you rode in on , but that other horse, the working one. If Mr Travers is using Black star amps , ther must be a painfully simple reason for this,
I would like to get my hands on one, anyone know of any available, cant seem to find one here in Scarborough,
Well have finnaly done it i have given up drinking, smoking, drugs, flying kites and beatin up midgets, it took a while, but realized the path to hell is paved with gold, its really nice to have what is left of my brain back,,,,,,,thanks 2 hugh dillon, Pat & some other examples of good conduct in a bad world. OMG-"Killer's Instinct" and "I Tried To Believe"? Have those songs ever been done live by PT? I know I sure haven't seen them. And I know that neither would be likely in a power trio format. That would be absolutely freakin' incredible! God, I love those two songs! Please, please, please find a way to get them into the set. Nothing against "Killer" and "The Pain" but having some classic PT played live that I've never seen before is always very appealing to me.

Rodney-thanks for the updates and have fun in Kanaduh! Can't wait to see you guys soon and meet you and Randy and see Kirk and PT once again.

Rich and all the Faithfull Followers,

As of right now, no changes in the set list except for the addition of Makin' Magic. While in Canada for recording, we will also be looking at updating set list.
There will be a reissue of Radioactive, Black Pearl and Hot Shot in Europe and hopefully the US to follow. With that being said, I'm pretty confident that some of those tracks will make it to help promote the CD's. New tracks from upcoming CD will start to appear and there are still some classics we've talked about bringing back. Songs mentioned are : The Pain, Killers Instinct, Tried to Believe, Killer, and hopefully Hooked on Music.
Will keep you posted as soon as anything changes. Getting ready for recording has been a little bit of a waiting game, but it's starting to pick up speed. Rome wasn't built in a day!

Peace,
Rodney O

Get to jam on the 4th with a bunch of the local talent. Should be fun. Been working with another guitarist on a bunch of original stuff to be recorded at a later date. Was invited to do the solo work on a debut CD for a friend from Indy. Got to get them chops up. Cheers, Kg

Kegger - re: Slink Rand
Kind of interesting; pretty fast chops. I don't get the fascination with playing with your teeth, though; doesn't seem very sanitary. Nice to see someone with a wireless. Don't really see that too often. I used one up until a few months ago when I got my Roland VG-99. If you guitarists don't know what that is, you need to pop over to Roland's website and check out the demo videos. 'nuff said.

Nice to see Ed

Hey Pat's Bass player guy - when did you learn that we are "hammerheads"? I think that's very cool you know that!

Hey Rodney O, thanks for all the updates! Best of luck to all 4 of you in the studio, we'll all be psyched to hear what comes out!

Busy summer indeed, I got to go out to do Led Zepagain shows in Mexico City & Wisconsin (no flood area, luckily!), as well as more local left coast ones. Got a lot more coming up: Minnesota, Michigan, Vegas, San Diego...

My better half & I just finished up some sorely overdue house cleaning; took a ton of stuff and put it into storage so we have some breathing space, and we can actually enjoy this nice summer SoCal weather. Life is good. Bette, sorry you're not getting it up there yet!

Happy belated, Randal, whenever the happy day was!

And finally, ED!! Ummm... what?? Don't be such a stranger in your own house, eh! Hope you're doin well. That goes for everyone else, too.

Cheers!

YO,Ho,Ho Hammerheads,
The show over the weekend in Sioux City, Ia. was a good time. Even though we had been off for a month, things went smooth and we really enjoyed the time together on stage. What can I say, I love playin' with these guys.
We will heading to Canada in two weeks to begin working on the new CD. As of right now, there are no working titles or track names, Just Pat, Kirk, Randy and Myself heading out into the woods on a musical journey! ( Pat is also planning on kicking our collective a**es in his Karate Bootcamp while there!)(Drop and give me twenty....... ON YOUR KNUCKLES!!!!)
Anyway, we are all excited to get up there. The gentleman behind the board on this project has quite an impressive resume. Look him up @ www.stevethompsonproducer.com

Will keep you up the speed as the story unfolds. Until then, (Interject your own prolific statement!)

Cheers,
That guy that plays Bass for Pat!

Too kewl fer school! Glad to read from ya, man.

Heading for N'Awlins to speak a the National Charter School Conference on -- get this -- GREEN Schools! Most appropriate, says I! Jimbo, I tried to book through DFW but ended up in Denver on the way out and Houston coming back. Would've cost me an extry $400 to come see ya. It is kinda quiet here. Just received my Hooked on Music DVD the other day, and I'm blown away by the quality of the DVD. Good to see that Pat still has the sense of humor he did back then. Have another DVD but the quality looks like it was transfered from a Beta tape. It was also taped in Europe in the 70's. I ain't complaining though.
So, it's South Dakota this weekend. Ya never know where I'll show up at Rodney. I have family and friends all over the USA.

Hope to hear more from the band as the CD is being worked on. I own everything that is out there, and some things that never were released in masses.
Well, time to go make sure the little monster teens aren't attempting any swan dives from the second floor railing. Love it when the miss, and the parents have to explain to the cops why they weren't supervising the kids

Not surprised at the level of commitment we see here. Me and the missus have been "hooked" for 24+. Congrats to all; you are a shining example to the young ones.

As for me, had the angiogram yesterday and he couldn't find anything. That, in and of itself really is a good thing, but still leaves us wondering what has caused my problems. The procedure wasn't terrible (quite impressive actually) and only took about an hour. Not that I recommend you all go out and get one, but if you ever have to, just know it's nothing to get worked up about.

Congradulations to Lori and OneChad, Randal and his misses (Grace?), and of course Monica and Pat. It is indeed rare for marriages to last this long these days and that's a shame. Here's to many, many, more years of happiness.

21 years June 9th for Lori and myself. Slept on a matress thrown on the floor of a 3 room apartment we rented the day we got married. Nothing but 2 cars and a lot of love. Never really had much of an argument. Its all about respect. Happy anniversary to all in June. Did I mention PTROXX!

Hey Everybody, long time no post! A quick recap, the show we did Inlet Harbor with Rick Derringer was great. A bit wet outside, but the people didn't seem to mind. Rick, Tommy and Charlie were rockin' and pleasure to work / hang with!
As far as new shows in the states, we have some dates pending waiting on confirmations, will let you know as soon as dates are solid! Yes, Europe is raidly approaching. i'm looking forward to my first trip across the pond!
Still working on new material for CD, tenitive start date beginning of July! Over than that, eagerly waiting to my next time to play out with PT and the Boys!

Peace, Love and Marshmallow Fluff!

Thanks,Everyone. Thanks for understanding the "venting" as Blur said, I sure needed it that day. Nice to have a place for that since I don't blog or myspace. This is an amazing site, with some amazing people, still after all these years. Definitely "home".

What a game last night. I love overtime, the longer the better! The tension building of who is goin to finally score. Nothing like, especially if you're at the game. The Pens remind me of when the Sabres played Dallas in 98(?). "if we could only get a shot on goal!" was our lament too. Being out shot 3 -1 and being tied! Fluery was the show last night.

Might go see Terrble Teddy, the Motor City Madman, in a couple months. Trying to get my daughter to get me tix for Father's day.

Rock on, folks, and thanks again!

I met Gary Hoey a couple of months ago at a guitar clinic in taunton, ma. He played a bit of the song that inspired PT Nuts !

Afterwards, I asked him if he knew "PT" and he said "WHO???"

I said "pat travers" and he said "Oh yeah, I know him...He's Cool!!"

Now that I think of it, it was the night before PT played the Newport, RI show in '08. It was torrentially raining that weekend and I decided not to travel the 50 miles to RI the next night.

What is it with PT and Rain. The '08 California shows were during torrential rains. I crossed the golden gate bridge and the bay??? bridge and couldn't see 5 feet in front of me.. nevermind the trip to santa rosa and the haunted lodge on a "deadly road" in the mountains (brookdale).
great place though !!
A river running through the dining room where a little girl drowned...scary!! but I neither saw nor felt any spirits.. I just drank them..

peace,
bill

Hey Hooked, You're in my prayers. I'm sure you'll be good to go, but unfortunately next season those Sabres will pushen your blood pressure back up ;-)
I know what you mean about Sid, he can come across in a negative light. But you know he really is just a 20 year old kid.
I remember back in the day, early 80's Gretzky was perceived the same way. Whiner Wayne was the term used to describe him here in Ontario, now he's a living legend..
I usually get behind an orginal 6 team but I would like to see a good long series. Then their is the Gary Roberts factor. I would like to see that man hoist the cup 19 years after the last time he did it at age 23. So what can I tell yeah, I'm officially sitting on the fence but I'm cheering for Roberts.

Hi guys, checkin' in and asking for prayer. Just came back from the doc's. He wants to do a cerebral angiogram next Friday. Apparently I may have "dissected" something and he wants to have a look see. This has got me scared, honestly. and the prayer I'm looking for is for his skill and my peace of mind. Thanks

In other news...Go Red Wings. ToastPoster, I don't know about you but something about that Crosby kid just rubs me the wrong way...that and I have an inate disdain for the Penquins. Always have...even more than the Flyers!!

Got to see Gary Hoey a couple weeks ago. Excellent as always; disappointing crowd though. If there were 30 people there I'd be surprised.

Even better, got to go to a Christian Music Summit. Met and chatted with Will McFarlane, he used to play with Bonnie Raitt. What a fun guy and great blues guitarist!

Rock on, folks! Need some PT in Buffalo, please and thank you....it'll help ease "The Pain"

Good to see Piggly Wiggly checking in.

gREG was at Iron Maiden while I was at The Police/Elvis Costello the other nite. The Police were amazingly good. One of the few shows I've seen where VERY FEW in the crowd left their seats at any time during the show! I only made one beer run, which I think set a record for fewest at a concert. How was the IM show, bud?

ROCKPIG ???!!! Is that you really? The ol' PT Board just isn't the same with out you or Ed or even longtime vanished poster Stargazer. What ever happen to Stargazer? I think someone told him some crazy stuff about Schenker and he's never been back.
Gee, remember the old PT Chat board? With the likes of Eric, and Dave Larue dropping in and filling us mere mortals on the inner workings on the PT Rock Machine.
Concerning the Riggs gig: that's exactly the type of stuff we're missing here. Rockpig alway's had/has the greatest juice.
Good to see you as well as Eric are "Still Alive and Well"

Hey all,

I don't post here much anymore for various reasons, but check in often. Great to hear from Eric!

Mostly here today just to pass on this exciting info on another past member of the mighty PTB.

ENJOY!

80s rock act Riggs did a reunion this month in Atlanta as a benefit for an ailing friend. Their one and only album came out in 1982. Some great footage of the show is online at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EbBGMlpHOo.

I'm alive and kicking. They did the angi?????? procedure Tuesday afternoon and was home by Tuesday night.
There's not much more of me that can break and need repairs. Still really bummed about not getting to go to Ponce Inlet Friday, but it's best. wouldn't want the plug in my atery to pop out. Been going through the PT collection the last two days. New neighbors just moved in last weekend while I was in the hospital. Guess they are in for a surprise. Hearts all good and lungs are doing really good. .
Can't wait for the chance to see the PTB.

The Celtics are three wins away from making this year in Boston kinda magical. 4 of the top 5 U.S./ Canadian sports leagues

Championship Games

(NFL, MLB, MSL, and hopefully, NBA) will include a Massachusetts based team.

btw: Very Cool 10 part interview !!

Dr. Evil and Mini-me, two of the greatest anti-heroes of all-time !!

No Prob, Bette !!

No disrespect Mrs. PT but I'd rather listen to Dream Theater than watch American Idol. That Rock version hosted by dave navarro and brooke burke was cool though !!

The Celtics are three wins away from making this year in Boston kinda magical. 4 of the top 5 U.S./ Canadian sports leagues (NFL, MLB, MSL, and hopefully, NBA) will include a massachusetts based team. The Bruins as an eighth seed almost upset (went to a seventh game) the number one seeded Montreal. Two wins (out of 4) would be nice !!

Don't be hating us massachusetts liberals !!

Hey Monica, Tell Pat that those current short interview videos on You Tube are very enjoyable. I love those interviews that offer insight and perception into our favourite rockers career.
It was very cool listening to the stories of his youth and his travels around Ontario and Quebec as a budding Bad Ass Axe Slayer. I travel a lot for my job, and moved around a bit here and there. So I know Toronto, Ottawa, Sudbury and North Bay quite well.
Maybe I misunderstood the one video, but it sounds like Pat or someone close to Pat is building a Studio in Eastern Ontario. Smack dab in Cottage Country on one of the many beautiful lakes out that way. Perhaps that one pix of the guys on the sled was from there? If so, seems like Pat is revisting his roots in away.
However PT watching idol? The man that kicked the assess of a generation. I'm thinking Pat's not an Aries at all. I'm thinking maybe he's a Gemini! :-)

I never knew my birth parents. There was a car accident. my birth mother was incinerated, and I only survived because her smoking carcass had formed a protective cocoon of slaughtered human effluence. A Belgian man and his fifteen year-old love slave were looting the accident scene, came across a blood soaked baby, moi, and they raised me to be evil. You know, very Norman Rockwell.

Jim K,sheet, hang in there bro. Sis,take good care of him and thanks for keepin us posted. As for the 9-5ers or in some cases 5:30 to 1:30. Not selling souls just selling small pieces of talents to survive. Same as any other job,may not be what you love but sooner or later some folks just have to keep the ole nose to the stone to make ends meet. Not all of us can continue to chase the dream or put some dreams on hold to take care of families, kids, loved ones etc. Haven't given up on the dream or lost the passion, just have to put it on the back burner for a while. I too used to be an all or nothing flat out gotta win type. Hurts the head in the long run. Besides,we all get weeded out of things from early age through life. Natural selection runs in all things. Thank god Pt is at the top of the selection chart!!!! Going to visit Marty this AM post up later. Cheers, Kg

You want to know the key to or meaning of life:

Still having at least 50% of the soul that you were hopefully born with when you die !!

Life continually tries to siphon it away !!

How you deal with this defines you !!

Shine !!

Sorry to those folks who don't like to think creatively and speak freely !!

you are the problem and not any part of the solution !!!

peace out to you and your kind !!

self-indulgence can be good in spurts !

marketers and the like are hoars!!

Most people are "hoars" and they don't even know it!!!

Any time you do things for money that you wouldn't do for free---> you're a Hoar !!

9-5 ---> hoar-ing for your family !!

Losing part of your soul everyday!!

The streets and office buildings are littered with "black holes of soul-less(ness)"

that's why folks need prescription drugs to sleep cause their conscience is saying HOAR or worse !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the truth hurts !!

I can't wait to hear some CIVIL responses to 9 to 5-ers who do not feel that they are selling their soul to corporate america !!

peace and critical-thinking,

With that deeply perceptive marketing prospective, the Western Grip Band would be HUGE in Texas. You might just go from aluminum to copper! Always make sure your house power isn't on the same circuit as the Maragrita machine or breakers will be tripping all over the place( a common problem here, especially at outdoor shows during the summer).

Geez Randy, how gawd-damned narrow-minded. Of COURSE you gotta have a bass. A mop handle stuck in the bottom of a wash tub with a phone cord fer string -- yep -- ONE phone cord string. What in the hell were you thinking? dork LOL

Sounds like the Mooseheads had a great time -- head and antlers above the rest, as they say! coolness eh

As far as DT, I'd echo Stevie Viable as they definitely have their place in music. They like what they're doing, and it's only through the grace of others who like it too that they are selling nanobits and being paid to be onstage. My take . . .

Steve, when you gonna come guest with STEHM? How 'bout when we open for Motorhead's band July 10? Bruce, get in the Vette and haul ass 'cause we go on at 9:30 tah-NITE. Pick gREG up on the way.

Heard from Pig and he's Still Alive and Well. Badger knows. Hi to you and Sandy

Cind! You rock, girlie!

Where's Edley?

JM - cool to read from ya.

JimK, looks like I might be in FLA early in June. Daytona, I think. Will let ya know. Maybe the Cornstalker will head thataway. Yeah Jimbo, that does mean a stop in DFW and points west.

Randy, you baddass mofo. Say hi to the fellers for me. Hope to see ya soon. Did you and Captain Kirk MC get a chance to look at my book whilst in Europa? Would like to hear any feedback.

Gotta go to Nawlins June 21 - 24. Any Hammerheads or Hummerheads there that we know?

No. Unfortunately Dream Theater has refused my offers to open for them on tour.

My idea was that the Western Grip Band could come out and with 1 string on the guitars, 1 string on the bass , better yet, NO BASS, just a kick drum, margarita mixer and a cowbell for drums, and a karaoke machine for a singer and do my concept album "Dumb Music for Smart People" from start to finish.

The idea was to amp up the crowd by showing them how awesome the band could be pounding out tunes and making margaritas at the same time.

In all seriousness, Dream Theater are pro musicians, and The Western Grip Band appreciates that, but we are pro margarita drinkers, and I think the crowd can relate more to a 15 minute margarita chug-a-thon versus a 15 minute mind-numbing drum solo (can anyone say pee break).

Besides, they declined my offer because my diggeradoo tech has a crush on the singer.

They are Haters.

Thats funny. I actually AM working on a solo CD. It will probably sell an aluminum status (much more prestigious than gold, platinium).
So haters beware. Some of the songs we are working on are:

I'm Gonna Blow This Amp Up.
Seven Folds to the Luve Dug-Out.
Manni's Brows.
Tonight You Work.
Hey Man, Nice !
There Is A Drunken Badger In My Room.
I Play Hard!
Skeezers I Have Loved.
Don't Fall In Love (w/ a Canadian Moose)
Shifty Eyes.

The album will probabl be called "DRUNK, FAT and -UP".

The name of the Band is Randy Lane & The Western Grip Band.

We play better than you.

Again, Don't Hate.

Stalker,

No,no...this time is was NOT Kirk's fault.

But ya know what was....

It was Kirk's fault that I had to smell the "man scent" of Yngwie at this years NAMM. I think he was wearing "SEX PANTHER" by Odeon. I am not suprised by this...he is a straight Pimp. Just look at all of his pawn shop gold chains. Can anybody say "Gangsta"?

Dream Theater?

The only thing item that Mike Portnoy is missing from his drumkit is a Badd-Ass margarita mixer!

I think Kirk has a crush on the singer.

Rodney has a crush on a canadian moose!

Bill,
I saw that tour as well out here in LA. All 3 were incredible. DT is one of my favorite bands these days. Soulless? Not at all, it's just a very different type of emotion they put across from blues-based players. A lot of the emotion goes into their compositions, and then it's a matter of pulling them off as precisely as possible. It's more the classical music approach; you can't say that symphony musicians have no soul & don't feel the music they're playing just because they aim to play it as precisely as possible.

Anyway, that kind of thing isn't everyone's cup o'tea, for sure, so you're not wrong for not liking it, that's just your taste. But you can't make a blanket statement like "It Sucks," cause that's just plain wrong. Took me a while to learn that myself. When I was 18 I made faces at Loverboy, cause I thought they sucked, especially playing right after Ozzy with Randy Rhoads, and PT, Heart & BOC coming up next! (Ok, they did suck...) ;-)

And yeah, what IS up with that reissue of Crash & Burn, with a new unreleased track??

Cheers!

Choice is good !!

I got stuck watching them close up at a HOB show in orlando.

King's X (one of my fave live acts) opened the show and Satriani closed it.

The in-between is where the problem occurred (DT's set).

I didn't want to lose my place right near the stage so I had to watch DT.....the only good song was a rush cover.. they were very lame.. and following King's X only highlighted it!!!

funny note:
they noticed how disgusted I was and because, I guess, they were recording it, they sent out 2 huge guys wearing white t-shirts to stand behind me to "edit" me from the recording. D-bags, lol!!

Happy belated Mothers Day to all you mothers on here! Had a great weekend, a friend and I went to Tahoe and saw Derringer (Scott & Jo - saw you guys there - we were sitting 2 rows behind you on the right - didn't get a chance to say hello).

Met Kenny Aronson later that night - totally cool dude not to mention a MONSTER bass player!

It's not all about soul, Dream Theater can include soul when they want, They can slow it down all the way and they can speed it up all the way. Petrucci can play anything that Clapton or Travers can play, but cannot say the same for the other way around. They just prefer to play that type of music.

Rick Derringer did a benefit for a little girl last weekend. From what I read he provided pretty much everything for free.

coming up for air again after locking down to try to catch up with work. It's been a uh -- BLUR -- if I may say so.

Congrats, Kegger! My GS Corbin is now 1.5 years old and is a real kick. Hate to admit it but I s'pose he might get treated a tad better than the kids -- but only on accounta we're doing better than we were back then!

Bill3 - sorry to hear about the incident -- not cool and not fair! I agree -- you're WAY too young to be dealing with that! I sincerely hope you'll find a good doc who knows his $#!+ and will get you fixed up soon. 'Til then though, have fun but don't push it too far, noamsaine?

Rodney, lookin' forward to meeting ya on the Best Coast and Randy, Captain K and of course the inimitable PT, look forward to seeing yer smilin' mugs again soon.

Cheers

oh yeah -- Happy Mothers Day to Monica, Rich's Nancy, Bert's Nancy (kids I think?), gREG's Lisa, Morse's better half, etc . . . .

Hooked, I'm glad your up and around and doing OK.
I know how you feel on the hockey front. It's a tough thing rooting for a team that you pretty much hate most of the time. I guess I'll root for the team I hate less. I don't know who that is to tell you the truth.
I love Gary Roberts on the one hand so it would be great to see him win another before he packs it in. But then you have the Malkin & Hossa factor so it becomes cloudy. You have Mario in the stands so that tugs the heart back.
I love the Biron story though, warming the bench in Buffalo, traded away, stealing two series a year later. Through in Briere and add those tough Western Canadian kids like Upshall and I like (stomach)the Flyers.
The Philly crowd though completely different story, turns my stomach when they win.
Whatta do?
Same as the Sharks and the Roenick appeal. My god could you imagine that. The guy would never shut-up ever(geez I remember when he was a Flyer and got his jaw broken in a game, the trainer came over to him on the ice and literally carried his jaw in his hands as he skated off the ice - AND HE WAS STILL TALKING _ with a broken jaw being carried in someones hands). I can't image what he would say if he was a Champion.
But after close to 20 years tolling and mucking in the corners night after night it would have been a great story.
I guess thats the appeal of Pro Sports, the individual stories and situations that will make you cheer on a team that you wouldn't dare normally.
The stories of the last chance veterans, the bench warmers turned heros. A rag tag team of misfits that somehow pull it together. Grown men that sacrifice their bodies for their teamates. How they shelve their mistrust and dislike for each other all for the chance to be the Champion.
It's why I watch.

Hooked, You were suspiciously quiet during the Sabres fall from grace this spring. Hey it goes to show you how things change very quickly in the new NHL. One season your a favourite to win the Cup the next year half the key guys are gone and your Golfing in April. It sure would be something if the Flyers won the Cup on the back of Biron?

Any chance of the Band Slipping in a Toronto Show
between the London & Mattawa Ontario Gigs?

Could a Show be Lined Up on Saturday July 26th @
Jeff Healey's Roadhouse?(The Last time PT & Company
played Healeys they Packed the Place!)

http://www.jeffhealeysroadhouse.com

Have Toronto Classic Rockers Moxy Open the Show

Wishful Thinking or could the Pat Travers Band &
Moxy be Playing Jeff Healey's Roadhouse on Saturday
July 26th?

hey guys, long time no post....been lurking though...what a crazy March and April I had.

Full blown flu at the end of March, during which I had to do a major presentation.

Then, on the fool's day I had another stroke! (some of you may recall I had a mini stroke a little over a year ago). Man, all that stress is back now, the wondering, worrying, and doubts. Blessed again in that there appear to be no lingering affects. Going to a new doc next week; hopefully he can figure out how to keep this from happening again. I'm to young for this!

on the bright side, going to see Gary Hoey this friday so I'm looking forward to that.

Rock on !

Yeah Toast, yer right, but being a Sharks/Giants/Warriors fan, 2nd place is REAL old. I d/l a PT cover of Houses of the Holy, from a LZ tribute cd. He also does Whole Lotta Love, but I havent heard it yet. They are available on Rhapsody for .99 cents each. The HOTH cover, in typical PT fashion, kicks ass.

AHH The Sharks, Thats too bad dude! Blame it on Turco he stole the series. Same as Biron for Philly. The curse of the hot goaltender has sunk many of a deserving team in history. That is the sad thing about the NHL though a team that coulda, shoulda, woulda - doesn't and next year some other team get's it's game together out of the blue and your guys sink lower down the pecking order. Till they haven't even made the playoffs in 3 years!
Oh wait those are my guys - The Maple Leafs.
Chin up lad I think your team is good to go for another few years yet. But you just never know - do yeah!

Hey Cindy. Stephanie turned 18 Thursday, and headed to Memphis in May on Friday. If Eric and Rick were still playing she may have gone with me. No offense to Rodney and Randy. Its just the way kids are. Lori stayed home. More room for the new converts. The setlist was exactly the same one listed for Leesburg. Definitely missed "Hooked" It is a great opening song. My favorite PT song. You remember when I had my fansite and we did a survey of everyones favorite PT song? "Susie" beat "Hooked" by one point. I would be willing to say "Elijah" would probably rank high these days. Gotta get to work. They got me in charge of 9 stores these days. Lots to do. Cya. Tell Darren I said hi.

Rodney,I know it has been a whole month since I've seen the band, but I was wondering will there be any more Florida dates while the new cd is being recorded? Maybe a hint of what to expect on the new release. Jannus Landing was cool, despite the rain coming down in heavy sheets. I saw the set list from Leesburg and noticed the Born Under A Bad Sign is not on the set list anymore.
Could we see the addtion of Whipping Post,or Makes No Difference to the set list? The Pain is a great song in itself. I have the cd with Offbeat Ride, and Dedication live. This cd was recorded in Jacksonville Beach at the Freebird Cafe on 1st Street.( I think) From what I understand there were a very small number of cd's made from this show, and I consider myself to be very lucky to have it. Never thought I would have Dedicaton, and Offbeat Ride on a live cd. It kicked ass, just like any P.T. song does in my neighborhood in the morning.

Sorry Bruthuh. I had other folks riding with me, and the babysitter was on their clock. Got Pat to sign a couple of things though. I reminded him of the time I drove him around in San Diego with Randal giving directions in the back. A highlight in my life!(Thanks Randal) Really enjoyed the show. You guys are extremely tight. You all seem to really have a good time onstage. My son and brother in law were greatly impressed. First timers you know. Pat's guitar playing is always awesome, but his voice seemed stronger than ever. Fifth time seeing him, but first in 4 years. Please dont stay away so long this time! Again sorry for having to leave so soon. Catch you next time.

Rodney-those are some great videos. Can you'll hire me for the dry ice/fog machine operator? Since I know all of PT's songs so well I could push the button at just the right moment for maximum effect. :-)

OneChad ...... Showtime is scheduled for 8:00 PM. As of right now, Hooked on Music is on the back burner. I think Pat needed to get away from it for a little bit. I'm sure it will make a return in the future. We're looking at changing somethings up in the future, along with adding NEW MATERIAL (can't wait for that!)

Make sure you say hi while you're there Sat.
Peace,Love and Root Beer,

I am definitely there. You guys can play anything you want, but can I please request "Hooked On Music"? I have seen it missing from some of the list posted here recently. I have seen Pat 5 times and he always opened with Hooked. What time is showtime?

Hey Everybody!! Leesburg Bike Fest was an absolute blast!! The crowd was off the hook, sound was great and we loved every minute of it.

Blur... As soon as new ideas get to a comfort point, we will be trying them out on some live shows, just to test the water. Will let everyone know when we get to that point.

Onechad...... Yes, we are going to be in Jackson, Tn on May 3rd for a Cinco De Mayo Festival. I think it is tied in with El Chicos? Hope to see ya there!!
