Hi All! Hope everyone had a great holiday, and a safe New Year celebration. Yeah Bette, we're still around. We have been keeping busy with all the changes. Sure I'll be around next week Ed, give us a call. HEY!!! Are we to understand that Pat will be playing at The Coach House on the 15th? I'm sure you'll be going, right Ed? We haven't seen Pat in awhile now, we missed the October and November No. Cal. shows, and unfortunately So. Cal doesn't have as many as No.Cal. Hey! What about Scott and Jo, You guys gonna make it down? It's been awhile. Cindy, Randal, Blu, Ed...... Thanks a bunch for the good wishes. We hope to party with everybody again real soon (Maybe at the Coach House !?!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I am sitting here at my desk with no one in the office today, I gave my employees the day off and covering which is really silly because there is absolutely no one here today! Will probably leave early! WooHoo, PT this Friday and Saturday, anyone coming up for these No. Cali shows? Any resolutions for 2004?????????????? ~Regina

Finally getting a chance to sit down and post. I hope everyone had a safe and sound New Years! I'm wishing for the best of everything for everyone in '04. ***** What a blast we had NYE! Great food, Free Booze, and some amazing sounds!! Steve - At the risk of reapeating myself - Zepagain is just one of the best bands that I've ever seen. I can't believe how authentic you guys sound. Your guitar playing is rock solid and gets more impressive all the time - I'm certain you'd make Jimmy proud. The whole band is as professional as professionals can get. Not only musically but it appears that you guys are also doing everything else right too... from the your website, to your mailing list, to merchandizing, booking (and filling) shows, your loyal fan base, to selling out most of your shows - all show that you guys take great pride and joy in what you are accomplishing. You're a lucky dude to have hooked up with that bunch. You'll have to fill me in on how you guys recorded the show NYE!!! Looked like a pretty sweet setup. I'd love to hear some of that stuff! (hint hint) What a setlist too! 3 hours of "all request" Zeppelin!!! Simply amazing. Interesting that nobody requested "Stairway" or "Over the Hills" or "Moby Dick".... Zepagain Rocks! ***** I hope everyone has a great weekend coming up... TCF - not going to make any of the NorCal shows that're coming up. So have a great time and give da boys my regards. I'll take down the Christmas decorations around here on or before Sunday. Promise. Happy New Year! Ed PS - D&K thanks for the wishes! I'll call you guys over the weekend. D - I'm hoping we can manage to get in 9 at Palm Lake on Monday or Tuesday evening? That a possibility??? out... |

Look at THAT! Brucifer updated the PTB calendar! Ed, I'm gonna try to do SJC. Anybody know how late the train runs? Don't think I want to drive for "oblivious" reasons . . . maybe I can carpool it back to SD with someone. Even though I'm drinking less for the New Year, chances of my not having a few more than I should are pretty slim at a PT gig! Jimmy Pagemaker, we'll see you at Canes |

Hey Jbeseau, it sounds like the River City Bike Fest will be a rock & roll good time. With April Wine playin some straight ahead Canadian Rock & Roll, the party will be way out of control. It would be way cool to see Pat and AW play some tunes together. Talk about trading lead guitar! PTB & AW ROXX! |

I live in Charlotte. My perfect scenario would have the Panthers beating the Rams and the Packers beating the Eagles. That would put the NFC Championship game here in Charlotte and I could pull for my Packers. |

Hey Rich, I heard that cheese and WHINE goes great with a Green Bay CRACKER......nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.... So long as Dallas, Tampa Bay & Oakland are outta the playoff picture I'm a happy camper. Looks like these last few playoff games are gonna be a great time! ANYBODY can pull it off at this point, so I ain't betting against anybody! On another note, I just recently purchased a Jimi Hendrix Tribute CD (released out of Italy) that features PT & Sean Shannon covering "I Don't Live Today". I'm assuming it was from the same recording session that produced "Ezy Rider" from a year or so ago. Word was that Pat recorded "Ezy" for a Hendrix tribute that was coming out of Italy. When I purchased this CD sight unseen, I assumed it was gonna have "Ezy Rider" on it, and was pleasantly surprised to find this other song instead! The packaging for the disc is really classy as well. It's done in a digi-pack style and appears similar to a book. Hard bound glossy cover that folds open to an 8 page booklet that is bound into it with liner notes from each artist mentioning Hendrix's influence on them. Pat relates his story of seeing Jimi in Ottawa in '68 and attempting to get Jimi's guitar neck when he smashed up his Strat. There is also a fantastic "live" cover of "Third Stone From The Sun" by Steve Lukather that is mind boggling! Other artists to appear are Robben Ford, Larry Coryell, Hiram Bullock, Mike Onesko, Tony Spinner (who very briefly played with PT in the mid 90's) as well as several others. It's a disc definitely worth searching out! It's called VOODOO CROSSING: A Tribute To Jimi Hendrix....... And as always...PTB is King! |

Hey Drummz, I beat ya by 3 hours on the Majestic Rock reissues! Gonna have to buy those albums one more time... The "Front Row Live" is a DVD AUDIO, not video. It's the same show as the King Biscuit Flower Hour CD, but they inexplicably re-arranged the song order! I haven't got it, so I don't know if having it in surround is worth it, but if you don't already have the king Biscuit CD, it's not a bad show. Cheers! Steve Z |

Eagles love cheese! My only vested interest in the games was the fact my bro-in-law is from Philly.(My Bill's were out of it by week 3, so just watchin' for fun now.) Still, can't believe Favre threw that duck! I had looked away for a second and when I looked back I thought the Pack had punted!!! To bad it ended like that. Both teams played really well. This is the best weekend of playoff football I've seen in a long time. All the games were pretty exciting. Even KC tried to make a go of it. Man, Indy is a juggernaut! |

The Coach House and The Galaxy are owned by Gary Folgner. He is a very long time good friend. I was the one who reestablished PT back into the Coach House on Eric's B-Day Sept 2001 after 7 years without PT playing there. They didn't know how to get him, so I brought him in myself. Now PT is a regular again. Yeah!!! If we could get a sell-out there, Gary might consider booking him into the larger Galaxy again. With slow ticket sales on most gigs, these venues are calling mailing list folks to come. Isn't that a sweet personal touch? |

Hi guys Just popped in for the first time in a while to be greeted by UK gigs!!! Excellent stuff. Just a query though - are they really spread over 3 months? (And I think there's a typo, as it sez Pat's playing Sheffield and Wolverhampton on the same night...?) Wonderful news tho!!!! love TC |

Things are pretty cool with me thanx Ed. Too busy at work for much surfing/hanging out nowadays. And too busy rushing around with a complicated personal life to do much from home. Been popping in once in a while to see what's going on. Actually, the other day I played the PT 'Solo' CD (Hi Rich!) to my new partner, Jane, and she absolutely loved it. Already knew she's a 'keeper'.... love to all TC |

Coach House sounds really cool, Ed, but I really can't commit to it, with my show tomorrow night. A guy's gotta sleep sometime! If I feel like I can make it down there, I'll let you know. Coolh, yeah, like Randall said, we're down here in LA, but hopefully, one or both bands will make it up there sometime. Cheers, Steve Z |

Hello all this is Angela. I just wanted to take a moment to tell everyone about the Bad Ass REK website. We have worked long and hard on this site with so much more to do, but we have three originals that you can listen to on the front page and we have updated the pictures. We even have some pictures of Pat with Bad Ass REk in the recording studio. So, for all the Eric Frates and Rick Navarro fans please take a moment to register at our site. I will soon be updating the songs and post the song Pat recorded with the boys. Thanks for your continued support! Angela |

Very cool gREG! Looking forward to meeting you and seeing PTB with Eric and Rick again! Too long! In my not-so-humble opinion, SBC/Cingular sucks. I'll leave it at that... Later...Jim

Hey Steve Z, That's really great that you got to meet Jimmy P.! I'm really happy for you. I betting big money that when you saw him in concert all those years ago that the thought of something like what happened to you last night would have been at the farthest reaches of your imagination! Right? Ha! Way to go Bubba! Always aim for the stars! Good to see that the PTB is heading back to Europe again. Glad to see that there is still considerable interest in PT over there. I've always believed that Europe appreciates "real music" much more than here in the States, where it seems that fads and the teeny bopper market seems to be the rule rather than the exception. It ain't right! LOL! And as always...PTB is King! |

Man, that is so awesome! Page was my first guitar hero as a kid before I discovered PT. You know Jimmy wouldn't have been there if you guys weren't good! That's the ultimate compliment you guys could receive. Did he do the stagger/cough as he exited the plane? |

LOL! I've seen that movie MANY times! No, he was very well spoken and coherent, actually! Seriously, this was the single biggest compliment I've ever been paid in my entire musical life. He told us he was really impressed with how much like Led Zeppelin we sounded, and how much attention to detail there was! He signed an autograph for me, which reads, "Steve - Thanks for sounding so good!!" I'm still so high, I don't even mind that I'm missing PT tonight! I've barely slept since, and I'm still wired! Ok, I'll shut up now... |

Steve, Got a bunch of questions to ask! 1. Did you know ahead of time that he was coming? 2. At what point in the show did he show up? 3. Did you try to coax him up on the stage for a little jam? 4. How long was he there for? 5. Who arranged it? Damn... that is just too friggin' cool!! Randy |
